I'm saying that about Jones! I love Shanalynch's ranking, but now struggling to give credence to any group ranking Jerry Jones in the top 20.

Jerry jones son has been the primary decision maker the last 6-7 years and as much as I hate to say it, they've done a good job. They have a damn good roster and if Dak was better, they'd be more of a threat. They've drafted well and have a very good defense.

i don't see issue with them being up there. Idk why GB is up there as they've progressively got worse and are about to get much worse. I also feel like bengals are a little high because the team isn't that great, Joe burrow is. They have an above average defense and a crap/mediocre o line. If it wasn't for burrow playing ridiculously well, they'd be a non-playoff team. I don't think he's done a bad job there but idk about top 4 in the league. Lol I'd put Lynch over the bengals.

yeah JL behind whatever the Bengals and Bills are doing is a joke. Bills can't and don't run the football. Both those teams just stumbled into elite FQBs. That's what makes the whole situation look much better than it actually is. We beat CIN in CIN with JG, that year CIN went to the SB.

Josh allen and the play calling looked much different last season without Daboll. Allen is still a top qb but he did revert back to some of his old bad habits. The play calling the playoffs was horrific. It was like every play they just tried to throw deep.

I'll take our front office over CIN/BUF, but they are good front offices.

id probably rank KC as #1 because they've done a good job with contracts and replacing key players and still getting really good production. I know Mahommes is just ridiculously amazing but they have a formula and it's been exceptional, even going back to when Alex smith was starting. Since Mahommes, 5 straight AFCC, 3 Super bowl appearances, and 2 wins.

Eagles have done a good job but outside of 2017 and last season, they haven't been anything crazy. They lost a ton of talent this off season too. So we will find out how good his draft picks have been now. They'll have to fill some key holes. It'll be interesting to see how hurts does now, especially since they're about to pay him a fortune.

#1 thing I would do in BUF is get a real RB, maybe Fournette. The problem is they use Allen as the short yardage, goal line power back. He's too valuable to the team in that role. PHI Roseman has a long, good history. Clearly whoever did that article, is looking at the AJ Brown deal, Hurts development, he was a round 2 guy, and how deep they stocked that D, near NFL record for team sacks. PHI / KC are legit. Rams are an odd choice at #6 considering they are now in free fall.

Yeah, I have no issue with Howie being top 2 or so, I'd just put KC above them at 1.

you could argue that Lynch & Co have done an insane job as well. They inherited a talentless roster and without a FQB have been to 3 NFCC and 1 Super Bowl. That's really hard to do. Have drafted numerous all pro/pro bowlers. Developed a lot of their guys.

i think top 3 should be KC, Howie/Lynch.

I just hope we don't lose Peter's. We are already looking at Marathe having a diminished role if we buy Leeds.

those two don't get a lot of public praise and are relatively unknown but key to what we do.
I heard that Lynch is the 8th longest tenured GM in the league. Thats crazy to me.

Damn, really? I didn't expect that. I guess 6 years in one spot is a little unusual. Most coach's/GM aren't around that long.

seattles been together for quite a while too, like double us

I think what John Lynch and Co have done an absolutely amazing job of during their tenure has been identifying high character football players.

that's been critical to our culture and even the players they've missed on, seemed to be high character guys.
Dafuq? PFF did a GM rank from 2017-2022 on draft picks. They used their patented wins over replacement formula.

In the first round, we were 10th worst. This at least makes sense. Volume is an important factor too. The second-fourth round? 10th best. I figured 17th roughly. But here's where their formula completely fell apart. Fifth-seventh rounds, they also had us as 10th best? 10th? They had the Chiefs #1. Horses**t. For fun, you should stack them up. Our first 2 drafts blow them completely out of the water for all six years. It's insane. We absolutely need to be #1 there. f**king PFF. You gotta watch these dudes.

That's messed up, 49ers should be top 5, top 3 really for 5th-7th, they've found so many gems in the later rounds, PFF is so odd, sometimes I get what they're saying, then I'm like WTF? Makes no sense.

Totally agreed. We have so many all pro's and guys on their second big contracts already it's comical. The Chiefs had like 4 starters total; something like that.

Excellent call!!

They turned a less than average roster into a SB contender and always knocking on that door.

In addition, non of our guys are in trouble w/drugs or the law.

Reuban Foster was shown the door quickly when that happened.
If I was a division rival or the Eagles secretly running our draft and trying to sabotage it… I still wouldn't have made picks this stupid because it would be too obvious.

Can't stress how dumb Kyle and Lynch looked tonight.
