I don't even know why we're drafting at this point. Just trade away all the picks, sign a few free agents after the draft and move on.

The early picks rarely work out. So that means the PK, TE and S we take in the 5th will end up being our studs, right?

I actually think this group will work out. Pure probability alone says one of these guys will hit lol. I think they will ultimately be good players, but the kicker thing will take a lot to get over. My concern is who will we miss on due to taking Moody so early. Couldve gone OT, or edge, or corner, and moved up with another 5th or even moved back with one of the thirds. A lot of ways this could've been worked and we'd still have Moody along with 3 soon to be starters/high quality depth.

Yeah, I'm OK with the players themselves. It's more the value and the inability to read the draft environment (and the players/positions available and what they value/prioritize and don't).

Man you guys complain so much. At least wait a few years and judge how this draft turns out. Sheesh the draft isn't even over yet.

LOL. Have you seen our 3rd round history? There's good merit on this topic esp. the panic-drafting philosophy.

No one hits 100% even the great maddog would've drafted a bunch of busts over the years. How many of you had Warner kittle greenlaw etc becoming this great? Purdy?

Come on now they turned the team around from losers to multiple championship games and a superbowl appearance.

Who's asking for 100%? I'm just saying based on our 6 year history, the 3rd round has been horrendous and it's very justifiable to not just give them a pass for their picks in this range...and now you can see why. It's their panic-zone.

The goal after 7 years is to win a Superbowl, not just turn over a roster that was inevitably going to get better over time.

What an embarassment. I think Lynch needs to go broadcasting.

He and Kyle must have had a fight and this was his final F.U. on the way out.

Lafleur, McDaniel, Saleh and Demeco may have something to do with ShanaLynch not getting the guys they need. I'm thinking these organizations are picking guys that ShanaLynch would have taken.

I was looking for some help for the OLine and Edge, but came away disappointed. Hope we get some better results today for the edge and OLine positions.

Its hilarious. Lynch's first two picks clearly replacing lost FA's, getting younger and cheaper. Literally what the draft is all about for elite teams.

Our fans "i DonT evEN KnOw wHy WerE drAfTInG AnYmoRe" lol

I think this group will work out also. Picking almost dead last in the draft doesn't help, but that's what winning and getting into the playoffs does for your draft opportunities.

One thing that you can't see in the highlight videos is durability. I'm hoping the players they have chosen all have first round durability talent. I hope to never see them pick - Kinlaw talent with bad knees - kinds of players ever again. If the safety, tight end, and kicker they picked today can play all 17+ games for the next 3 years, I think there is a good chance they can all develop into excellent players.

I actually DO like the Brown pick lol. Just not the other two. Funny thing is, I would actually like the Moody pick if it was in the 5th round, just concerned that the fate of our season could and probably will fall on a rookie kicker's shoulders at some point this year.
"You get a pick! And you get a pick!! And YOU get a pick!!! Everybody gets a pick!"

Let's review who's got the pull this year:
Brian Griese - Sam Darnold
Brian Fleury - Cameron Latu
Chris Foerster - Jon Feliciano & Matt Pryor
Kris Kocurek - Javon Hargrave, Clelin Ferrell, Kevin Givens, Austin Bryant, Kerry Hyder & Robert Beal Jr.
Johnny Holland - Dee Winters
Steve Wilks - Tashaun Gipson, Miles Hartsfield, Isaiah Oliver, Ji'Ayir Brown & Darell Luter Jr.
Brian Schneider - Jake Moody

Durability is one hit away from changing on a dime

Whether picked in the late 3rd or the 5th, if Moody makes the pressure kicks, who cares?
