Really respectable comments from Lynch stating "We feel the Seahawks coming". He should look to Denver and ask Patton why he made such a foolish trade.

Pete Carroll needs a QB like Russel Wilson if he wants to take the NFC West. Until he gets another QB like that, I dont think he'll have more than average success.

They need a better QB for sure but it wouldn't surprise me either if Geno goes back to not being good. More than likely it could've just been a fluke season. Even if he continues to play as well as he did last year it won't matter against our defense, he's just not good enough.

My hope is they are good enough to not get in range for a top QB, but not good enough to do real damage.

He's a system quarterback and won't be asked to do much but deliver strikes to 3 elite wideouts. Geno Smith throws dots and so does Sammy D. They both have a lot of similarities. From punch line to stardom in the right systems

He didn't throw darts against us last year. 0-3 with a poor stat line too. Averaged 15ppg in 3 games. Hopefully they keep Geno for 10 more years.

I think that's exactly what will happen- almost like a less talented Jimmy G. I think Geno will won them 8 - 11 games yearly.

Enjoy the 3 wideouts for this season because your brain trust will probably let your best guy go in favor of the youngin and the overrated big guy who plays when he wants to.
I'm getting excited for the new season. After another off season, I feel like we're still a top 5-7 (playoff) roster and #1 in (proven) depth.

If we get some injury 'luck' this year, Wilks gets the secondary playing at an even higher level than last year going into the playoffs, the DL preserves leads and closes games out, the OL takes another step forward and Brock/Trey play at a consistently high efficient level, Kyle should have no issues game planning and staying in rhythm. Like last year, we've got a legit shot.

Who are the other teams and their players you have ahead of them with more top shelf talent and a better roster?

I think there are a few teams that are more top heavy at the key positions: QB, OL, WR, Secondary. We're more top heavy at DL, LB, TE, etc.

But there's not a big gap between 1 and 10 either.

If we are looking at being top heavy at key/marque positions, minus QB, niners are right there with anyone coupled with being pretty balanced. If we are going by key positions, guys being the best at their position, or one of the best in the league, and just overall superstars I'd do this. Not even including guys like Ward, AA, Greenlaw, Ayiuk, Juice. I will add Huff because he made 1st team all pro. If you have time pick a team you think is more too heavy and we can match them.

TE-Kittle
WR-Deebo

DE-Bosa
MLB-Warner
