Yeah, I didn't exactly sit down and hard line every roster, player and unit here. I kind of feel like even some of the ones ahead of us also lost a little too.

You can make the argument we have the best. I won't argue. I just need to see the QB and OL against the playoff teams (which we will) before I do. And I'd expect the defense to take a step back before Wilks and the secondary get in rhythm but by playoffs...game on! I think they could be even better than they were in that Dallas playoff win where they closed it out FTW.

Either way, it should be another fun season!

Indeed

This team from top to bottom is a top 5 roster, teams like KC, CIN, BUF, & PHI would be right there. Just my opinion though.

Agree and if you remove the QB, arguably we have a better team/roster than 3 or all of those teams. They have proven QBs. We have been so unlucky until Purdy but he got hurt, now we gotta wait and hope he comes back just as effective or TL / SD step up.

Yep, remove the QBs, and this may indeed be a better roster than those 4. Just hope we find out who the franchise QB is, Purdy or Lance. And yes their QBs are proven, let's hope one of our 3 QBs steps up big time.

Answer the question NC, lol jk, this should be a fun season indeed, hope Purdy is ready, or Trey steps up big time, we need to find out who the franchise QB is. No more QB controversy.

not sure where to put this one, but this thread fits

33rd Team ranks the top offense and top D going into 2023

we rank as the #1 offense
we rank as the #1 defense

Mike Martz did the offense ranking, Chuck Pagano the D ranking, so these ranks are from former NFL head coaches

He is likely to want a lot of money and hasn't achieved a whole lot in the last two years. No thanks, we are good with our current group.

That was the same rhetoric around CMC when we were involved in potentially trading for him

After.a string of 7 thousand yard or near seasons, his last two years netted 572 and 717 yards. Carolina hadn't given up on CMC and washed their hands of him, unlike the Cards. I don't think your comparison carries much value to be honest. Hopkins was available for a trade for some time. Nobody wanted him.
