It means they take responsibility for making the mistake. They admit it. I think that's the best they can do under the circumstances. If they win with Brock nobody will even care about this f**k up.

It means that it'll be part of their overall legacy that this failed. Whether that comes to fruition as a minor story (because they continue to win) or as large part of the story (because they end up crashing and burning and get fired down the road) it'll be part of the conversation. But not today.

And there no guarantee Brock will win it all for them. Brock is their last saving grace before the s**t hits the fan again. 7 years of losses and stupid play calls.

We took accountability after bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki some 60 years later. That's a good example
