I may be incorrect here…but why would SF be on the hook for any of that? He's cut, he's not being traded..DEN has to pay whatever they still owe him for his contract. Not any other team that signs him as a FA.
Trade or waived players should transfer the contract. Released/cut players are URFAs is what I had thought

What about giving a shot at E. Mosely once hes healthy??? I'm sure they wont be asking for much and he already is familiar with us? If he can come back and play 80% of what he was doing before his injury it will definitely help at CB#2..
