Exactly! Ertz can help the 49ers a lot and make it even harder to defend us. Kyle has always wanted a 2nd TE to use like Brady and the Patriots when they had Gronk and Hernandez.

It would, I'm just focusing on the sentence saying that he wants to sign with a contender. How possible is that since all contenders are at the bottom of the waiver?

Ertz would only cost 2.5 million. Do it.

We are ahead of a good chunk of the other 8-3 teams, from what I've seen.
