I don't either.

Agreed which is why we better see 3-5 lineman taken in the draft. Imagine Trent retires too. Oooooffff

If we digress, TW may not come back. My free agent wish on Hunt did not happen nor at that price is worth it. I was hoping we try to get Tomlinson back but that looks out of reach as well. Does someone have any Free Agents on the Oline we can get to improve the right guard. This is the year to really figure that out with Purdy's career here.

lmao, why? So he could overpay Dorance Armstrong? Give me a break.

Lynch is a great GM ignoring OL every year, it's worked wonder for us.

As much as I agree with you I'm all about building via the draft. Especially o line. With free agency you have to overpay and that's tough to do with o line. You do that with other positions imo.

My issue is they ignore or bomb on o line in the draft. If they don't focus on the o line this draft.... my goodness....well ask me after the draft 😂

We needed to address OL in the draft last year. We keep wasting picks on guys that don't even dress.

We also didn't have any top picks in the last year draft. All Pro OL don't just fall to late 2nd / 3rd round fyi

We drafted a kicker nobody trusts, a TE that from all reports sucked in preseason, a burner WR that has never done a thing, multiple RB's that have been cut, the list goes on. It doesn't have to be a first rounder, just attempt to try and fix the line.

Moody was solid, Kyle trusted him twice from 50+ yards in the SB and he made them. What are you talking about lol

TE was a bad pick (didn't like it either). Should've picked an OL there, agree with that. We've drafted OL, just not developed them well. I expect 1st round or 2nd round OL picks this year though.
THAT EXTRA point HE MISSED cost the 9ers the freaking game ooh I guess people forgot about that in the 4th quarter

why is Tomlinson out of reach now? we could still get him or Feliciano - they're not bad options, both have proven to be good in this offense

then take an OT at 31, or better yet move up for one, and if the rookie OT beats out McKivitz, then McKivitz is another option for RG

then draft a C in Rd2-4

I don't think we're as bad at OL as it seems, there's also the possibility that McKivitz and/or Brendel improve in their second season as starters

Defensive line, defensive line, defensive line. It's not like we have an awful RT, terrible RG and a marginal C who is overrated. With a better offensive line we could have potentially won the Super Bowl. But it's just more defensive line as usual for Lynch. Trying to recreate the Bucs defense. Which he can't do. It won't matter anyway. In today's league you need offense to score to keep up with Mahomes. Mahomes will score no matter what defensive line you throw at him. So you better keep up and offensive line and protection is better for that.

Truth, He learns nothing from losing sbs. Just do more of the same. It's frustrating but we did have a lot of departures from the D line this year so we are forced to restock. Not sure we are getting any better though. Kurtenbach does not think so.. he wrote a scathing piece on our free agency moves..
I'm telling ya we're gonna get Bosa this weekend. DE group of Bosa/Bosa/YGM/Floyd/Jackson is pretty freaking good.

I can see SF signing someone like Diggs as a vet S. He's a Nick Sorensen guy. Cheaper vet who knows the system.

They're probably gonna sign Feliciano on the cheap. He was very serviceable.

Go draft a IDL or two on day 2/3. Get younger there. They already have their elite pass rush guy there.

beef up the OL with good young talent. This draft is loaded and they should come out with no less than two or three guys imo.

get a NCB in the draft to compete with our current guys. Grab some WR depth.

Were able to keep the damn near our whole team and some rotational vets and get some young blood in here to develop.

Nice plan. Love it.

But one will likely be a day 3 guy so I don't expect an immediate upgrade at one of those spots. If we bring Feliciano back OT will likely be where we go on day 2.

I do like what we've done so far. If we were able to get Bosa like we both assume, that Leaves CB and DT as only real needs on defense. Backup safety later wouldn't hurt unless they get Diggs as you suggest.

Then we can go offense heavy in the draft. I would like a legit WR that has potential to be a WR2. An eventual replacement for Kittle. A pass catching RB in case CMC goes down.

With what we added so far I for think we are in a very good position heading to the draft

Someone like Kool-aid at 31 would be a good pick (depending on health) . I don't see any real DT worth taking at 31. I feel like that's gonna be more of a day 3 thing. We will see.

still leaning OLend of the 1st. Again a lot of time to figure that out.

I agree I think overall we're in a good spot heading into the draft and FA is still going on.
one of the good OTs will, for sure, drop to the niners pick. WIll they take one though ?

This looks a really good draft to me, and from what people are saying, good year to have 11 picks.

I can see a trade up for Kool-aid.

I for one would make the least popular pick on this message board probably.

My board would be
Mims
Kool-aid
Adonai Mitchell
Brandon Thomas
McConkey.

I do feel like this will be Deebo's last season and it usually takes WRs until year 2 in Kyle's offense to get things going. I'd rather have a high end WR for 5 years instead of a JAG at OT or CB. IOL is deep and you can get same caliber guy rounds 2-4.

If I went WR at 31 I would definitely go OT in 2nd and Either IOL or CB in 3rd.
I'm a cynic, but they are trying to plug obvious holes and needs via fa wisely - Aside o line which I agree with not over paying on.

This tells me the draft should be all about o line and bpa, which I think is a sound approach.

In mocks sometimes one of those guys falls. I saw kool-aid reach us a few times. Wouldn't mind that if all the tackles are gone which seems likely. Sigh.

The only way they move off deebo is same as AA, Health. If he's banged up all year again, not good. If he stays healthy and produces I think he's staying. Availability is the best ability right?
