The dynamic offense under Purdy really masked a lot of these problems. Purdy could not be stopped in a lot of regular season games. Some games were over by halftime. But there were also teams who stood toe to toe with the 49ers and really slugged it out. Both games against AZ are good examples.

Pretty much every good offense we played with the exception of Dallas.

I'd like to see if they can sign Hunter Renfrow to a low cost deal. He was awesome at getting open for short yardage a few years ago unlit McDaniel wasted his skills.

This tells me the draft should be all about o line and bpa, which I think is a sound approach.

I'm in the same boat as you. In addition to Oline and bpa, I hope they invest an early pick on a CB as well. They also have some guys they drafted last year who should be stepping up this year in the rotation at LB and Dline.

Thomas is serviceable. Lenoir was solid last year, Mooney is Mooney.

Keep in mind, both Lenoir and Mooney are FAs next year too...

It was primarily Wilks fault, not all. But i'm sure when the D improves you will give all the credit to the new players and none to Sorensen.

No shilling for anybody lol, check prior page guy points out 5 new starters in FA right away, ok, does that not speak to our club last year and this. Real issues with Hargrave not being a run stuffer next to AA with plantar fasciitis. That's why you see these DTs coming on board. Were not blowing up the D because of last year. Were adding new pieces because we lost some inf FA etc. We did however dismiss Wilks based off of last year. Also it was all of last year not just one game. Just a bad fit. Also what team just runs it back? Not even the Chiefs just run it back. Dumb comment.
