This - 100%. It's called working together, collaborating as a good GM-HC pairing should.

spare me the ad hominems please; so again, let me ask - if these FA decisions are made jointly, why is Lynch getting criticism and Kyle gets none ?

You're a waste time to go back and forth with, obv you don't know s**t
I hope we can sign lake Tomlinson for cheap to replace burford. Dude is trash, which sucks cause I had high hopes for him. We need a swing tackle too. We wasted a roster spot on a tackle last year cause they couldn't play both sides. I have no clue had moore keeps making the roster.

Tomlinson sucks though. I wouldn't mind him as a backup to Banks though. Maybe even push him. He needs some real competition to keep him sharp.

Remember the fit you had when they let him walk in FA and he suddenly became indispensable?
Trust Lynch and his decisions...seems like their taking Brandon Staley inputs with FA signings as well

That's an understatement. Every one has ties to him and his scheme under Fangio.

It'll be the same for Banks. If Banks is resigned he's terrible and not worth money. If he's let go he is indispensable and a huge loss.

Does any one else feel like there's more one year contracts than normal?

Yeah, even the 2 year contracts are really 1 year. That said, this has been their M.O. for several years now esp. on the DL. Even more so now because they've got a massive contract coming up for Brock and possibly, Aiyuk too. $75M APY???

Now that we kind of have an idea of who Purdy is, do we see him trying and wanting to break the bank or being more humble and Brady like and him understanding we need to build s team. If he breaks the bank we will be doing nothing but one and two year deals. In this system it will be difficult.

With just two years under his belt I am quite happy with him. Not so committed to Burford but hoping that he can break through. Maybe picking up a vet like Tomlinson might help him.

I wouldn't be mad if they picked up Laken Tomlinson, I think he would be much better in SF. The only problem would be where would he play, because he's been playing LG his whole NFL career?

I think banks has been the second best player in our team and done a good job, I'd like to see us keep him but not overpay. Tomlinson would be a much better backup than burford.

also, it's hard to judge any of those guys in NY last year cause they were blocking for Zach Wilson. Lol he's awful and I wouldn't want to block for him either.

My idea is, let's keep picking up tackles, guards and centers and then sort out who is best where during TC!
