What I think of our 2024 NFL Picks.....
Ricky Pearsall - I personally like this kid, but had us drafting him in the 3rd round.. Is he supposed to make up for the Jalen Hurd fiasco?
Renardo Green - Such questionable pick IMO.. We shoulda moved up for Coop DeJean instead... at worst, he could have been a fine FS
Dominick Puni - Banks' developing.. Bufford may be next, so I see this kid as a Center.
Malik Mustapha - Overrated.. this is the pick that should have been used in order to move up and land Coop.
Isaac Guerendo - by now, the whole organization must realize that we have been overpaying Juice for not being called more often.. He's our future FB
Jacob Cowing - we have Gray and the return of Trent " Impulse " Taylor .. why do we keep drafting similar players and not use them? I thought Rice would have been a better and more popular choice.
Jarrett Kingston - will have to wait for 3 years to see his development
Tatum Bethune - Soon to be the Captain of our Special Team.
OVERALL GRADE: C
I'm assuming that the Brick After Brick Brothers have already forgotten why B-Rock Study Purdy couldn't find Yuck open in the END ZONE..
Lynch said in the interview that it's hard to find those OL drafting late, I guess Stanford did not teach him to use all the extra picks we have in order to move up and get the OL that he wanted. .. well, unless he did not want any of them..
Lots to digest here...
What does drafting Pearsall have to do with the Jalen Hurd pick from 5 years ago? Other than both being a WR I see no connection at all. Pearsall was a concensus round 2 pick no way he was going in rd 3 unless at the very top.
Mustapha i like him as a safety but if the Niners would have traded up from 63 to 41 where Cooper was picked it would have cost A LOT more. Probably #63 and next years 2nd rounder.
Jacob Cowing - i don't know why Gray or Trent Taylor would prevent you from drafting anyone. I also don';t think Lynch or Kyle cares about the popular choice. I actually like this pick a lot.
Its hard to say who they wanted at tackle. They might not have been high on Guyton or Mims and those were the only tackles they could have traded up for in the 1st rounder without mortgaging next years first.
I also think you maybe missing the point of the draft. It's not necessarily who can help you this year but more so building your roster 2-3 years down the line. They drafted Pearsall to take the place of either Deebo or Jennings in 2025. If he contributes his rookie year then thats just a bonus.

Pearsall - If you think about it, never recovered from the Jalen Hurd's unfortunate injuries. He tried J-1 but he's not enough.. he's been looking for that ED MACAFFREY type receiver who can run great routes while having the size that can contest when the ball is in the air. He'll neve admit it but giving Deevah that much money was a huge mistake.. a GADGET should never make that much.
Malik - w/o being sarcastic, have you seen this guy play, and how many times? I saw WF on tv about 6 times and the guy reminded me of Dallas' (then safety) Roy Williams.. He will make great tackles, but you will also see him chasing down pass catchers.. Had he been a little bigger and taller, he would have been a very good LB.
Cowing - at the very best, he'll have a play here and there.. will gain about 30 yards on one play, and that's it.. not sure about you, but I like drafting players who actually has a chance to start.. and this kid does not..
