If the other team is better then that's going to happen. That isn't a choke.

A choke is losing to the inferior Ravens in 12 or Giants in 11.

Well you keep saying Kyle choked. So either Kyle choked or KC is better. Can't logically be both.

Wrong. One thing doesn't exclude the other.

It's very simple: the best team is the one that actually wins the game.

Kyle had his chances and he blew them.

The Ravens were a great team. Great defense. They could chuck bombs with Flacco. Justin Smith and Aldon Smith were both hurt going in to the Super Bowl. Not ideal and no pressure killed us. Had they been healthy I think we win that game.

You would be hard pressed to call the Giants inferior. They literally WON the SUPER BOWL. LOL. Thanks Kyle Williams too.

That's right Koldo.
We need to get rid of Kyle and John, so Jed could be back in charge.

They weren't a great team. They were a HOT team. Their season stats were good, but not great for a SB winner - 10th in points on offense, 13th for points allowed on defense. SF was 11th in points scored and 2nd in points allowed. The defensive falloff due to the Smiths being worn down came up against an offense that was playing above its year average. Don't forget the defense played a similar game against Atlanta - bad first half, good second half. The hole was dug too deep in the SB.

It absolutely does. If the other team is better of course they are going to come back. That's why they are better.

Did the 88 Bengals choke?

Ravens are the worst SB winner this millennium. But the anti Kyle people are all Jim apologists so they pretend the Ravens were unbeatable so the standard they set for Kyle can't be applied to him.

John Harbaugh can't beat KC right now with Lamar Jackson. Yet somehow a mediocre SB winning team from a decade ago with a far inferior QB is better than a 3 time SB winning dynasty.

Such a contradictory post. Most of us wait for someone else to argue with our points.

Then best team isn't always the winner.

The term "upset" exists

built a great roster? Who cares

make it to the playoffs? Big deal

make it to the Super Bowl? Oh well

top 10 offense and defense? Not good enough.

offensive mvp? No dice.

lose in overtime to potentially the greatest qb of all time? Your loss.

youre f**king fired. The forums have spoken, and the forums are wise

Haha this. It's comical at this pt.

I don't think SF was the "best" team in 2019. Kyle did all he could to polish up that turd of a QB and now he's barely a backup QB in the league.

Having legit one of the best NFL players in history that plays the most important position in sports matters. Toss mahomes on a handful of teams and they're in place to win a SB.

Football is more than having the best team on the field. Ya your odds are better BUT that doesn't mean you're gonna win it automatically. There isn't a 7 game series. When a ball hits the ground sometimes it bounces right into the other teams hands other times it doesn't (KC put the ball on the ground 5 times and only lost it once). Guys get hurt that mattered like our starting LBer/RG.

basically rocking a rookie QB that made a couple mistakes in the biggest game of his super short career.
