Still early, but based on performance, these guys are passing the eye test, this class looking pretty great so far.

It's the best class they have had in all the time they have been here. Some of them appear to be stars or borderline stars. They really needed it too after many bad drafts and throwing away picks to Lance. But this year could extend our window. It's a great class. One more even half as good at the right positions and we will be in great shape.

2019 was picking much higher. A big advantage for the draft. Plus they only hit on a few. Missed on others. But hit big on the few. This class looks deep and strong throughout. From front to middle to back there are guys there who are good players.

It's November 2nd brah. You can't say anything is a hit or miss at this pt. I hope it's the best draft they've ever had. That 2019 draft got 3
elite level players on day 1 day 2 and day 3. That's amazing returns.

Agreed with both of you. 20-23 were pretty bad and that shows up in time. Also top thin because of the Lance deal as SamDiego stated. Obviously we found Purdy and a couple others, but weak overall.

This year's looks fantastic. In the end I get it- when you have good starters it's hard to supplant them, but when they are forced to play the rookies..... many show up well and better than most of us thought.
Got a feeling we might try to get Sebastian Joseph Day to hopefully boost the run D. Ojulari definitely would make sense too.

Surprised he hasn't made a move yet, we got 20 minutes left.
well the D-line still f**king sucks. This team wasn't winning anything significant this year anyways. Why waste actual draft capital

Id argue that 2020 was solid. Only had 5 picks so to come away either Jennings and Aiyuk is good. The Kinlaw pick prevents it from being good.

2021 looked to be pretty good, then the injuries happened. I'd still say it was solid. We got Banks, Lenoir, Hufanga, and Mitchell.

2022 and 2023 look to be the truly bad ones for the moment and it absolutely is showing up on the field now. A 2019 draft isn't normal. But if you can get one every few years and surround those drafts with 2017, 2018, 2020, and 2021 drafts, you will have a great roster. Hopefully we can build on this in 2025.
So John Lynch is literally doing nothing at the trade deadline. He has had such a horrible season as the GM. The draft is the only thing saving him from an F.

They saving that money for Brock.

They shouldn't pay him a dollar over 45 mil. There's nothing to save. They are in a do or die year this year. the team is going to look different next season. A disaster of a deadline day

How are they gonna look different? Their cap isn't an issue next year, they're not gonna lose everyone like every idiot pundit keeps saying, the ones who don't have a f**king clue about how the salary cap works, Brock is getting $60M a yr IMO, team friendly though, and he's earned a big pay raise.

Way too many pessimistic people on here, man I gotta get off here more often, haven't been on in a week or 2, and it's done wonders for my mental health.
