That made 0 sense plus getting rid of quality depth in Omenihu, Ebukam and Ferrell
He let three guys hold out and have gotten barely anything from 2 of them.

Plus another wasted top pick

Well, if today's performance is any indication the 49ers are done this year. They've got two losses coming up against Green Bay and Buffalo and then I think things might spiral. Lynch is the GM and he has to wear all the big money decisions over the last few years. For starters, Deebo is getting 27m this year to do next to nothing each week. An embarassingly bad contract. Next, he gave 30m to Aiyuk who s**t the bed then got injured, it's doubtful he'll be anywhere near what he was when he returns. Who else? Hargrave is big time money not around due to injury but wasn't producing when we was on the field. It seems the 49ers have gone bad and I think it's time for a shake up.

He also gave Bosa that huge contract and now he's not doing anything either.

Well you saw how bad the pass rush was without Bosa so that deal is fine. But Mcaffery's guarantee is another.

What an absolutely ridiculous take.

Not to mention Hargrave was over 30 and never great versus the run. Then they didn't even use him correctly. He's not a 4 down player.

Hargrave was a roll of the dice all-in type move. They almost pulled it off, but fell 15 mins. short. I'd rather they try than not, but when these moves don't pay off you have to deal with the fallout of them. We'll see how that goes the next few years.

The 3 guys mentioned were also younger guys and in the case of Omen and Ferrell just didn't stick on their current team.

I'd like to see us do that more often, target younger guys from rounds 1-3 that just didn't work out for their first team but fit what we do. Key and Tomlinson also come to mind, and Willis to a lesser extent.

I'd rather go that direction than vets who are probably passed it but we're hoping for some sort of renaissance - although tbf we've had a couple of good ones there too.
It's become obvious that they have no clue what to look for on the defensive line. We keep hearing about Kris Kocurek and how good he is. Then explain Leonard Floyd. Wow what a waste. That entire division needs to go

I think this wide 9 has worn itself out. Of course it works when you have bosa-arik-defo-ford. (Dj jones a solid alternate back then )
Gee we could sure use those 3 first round picks we gave up for Trey Lance right about now

the way we be picking in the 1st round, they'll probably all be bust...
Drafting Kinlaw high first round was a killer. All pro RT Wirfs was on the board. Would've won a SB with that pick alone.

no one can say for sure, but it wasn't only the OL that lost it for us
