He let three guys in CMC, Aiyuk and Trent hold out for more money, and hasn't gotten good results from any of them.

A colossal waste of money and error in letting guys go a year early instead of holding onto them for too long.

You were never going to get a better year than you got after McCaffery last year. Why pay him off last performance? Should've told him to get his ass to camp.

Same thing with Aiyuk. f**k the hold on nonsense. If you're here, get your ass to practice. You're under contract.

John is responsible for the constant drama.

My brother is a die hard Pats fan. We spoke about Lynch and the moves you mentioned.

Coach Belichick would not in a million years have extended 36 year old Trent Williams and CMC. He has always let players go a year early as opposed to extending them past their prime.
Lynch is wired differently.

A huge reason why we've had to extend guys like Trent and Christian is that there's nobody to replace them because the last few drafts have been awful.

Not to mention giving big money to over 30 lineman in Hargrave and Floyd. But the bad drafting forced them to make those moves. Look at all these old ass dudes they are extending, but didn't want to extend a young all pro d lineman

Well, if today's performance is any indication the 49ers are done this year. They've got two losses coming up against Green Bay and Buffalo and then I think things might spiral. Lynch is the GM and he has to wear all the big money decisions over the last few years. For starters, Deebo is getting 27m this year to do next to nothing each week. An embarassingly bad contract. Next, he gave 30m to Aiyuk who s**t the bed then got injured, it's doubtful he'll be anywhere near what he was when he returns. Who else? Hargrave is big time money not around due to injury but wasn't producing when we was on the field. It seems the 49ers have gone bad and I think it's time for a shake up.

He also gave Bosa that huge contract and now he's not doing anything either.
What an absolutely ridiculous take.

So you think he is playing up to his contract?

Agreed on Trent but not on CMC.

They (should've) knew what they had in Mason, still had Mitchell, and just drafted another RB in the mid rounds.

I would've called his bluff.

But in Trent's case I would've ponied up way earlier. Everyone knew we had no viable alternative.

They Treated Trent like he was kidding and would eventually come in...that wasn't their first mistake this offseason. Should have sent Aiyuk to Pittsburgh like he wanted now that contract is going to screw us.

Yep, they needed to make an example of someone to show that this "hold out" and "hold-in" nonsense wasn't going to fly.

Lynch should've paid Williams right away and shipped Aiyuk out the minute he posted Commanders practice film.

He tolerated nonsense and he's getting what he deserves this year. A poor product on the field.
So the front office thinks Mordicai, Dobbs and Allen are all better than Daniel Jones. I just have to say wow.

Just because they didn't sign himto our PS, it doesn't mean they necessarily think our guys are better.

It's no coincidence that this offense has went to complete s**t since Aiyuk went down. Ya his counting numbers weren't great at that time but he sure as s**t opens up the entire offense
