He should be fired. Botched plenty of first rounders including trey lance, third round on a s**tty kicker, offensive line is bad for years, now the defensive line starts to fall apart. At least the secondary does look good, finally...

Glad to see him get fired up last night. Here's hoping the frustration leads to positive change.

Me too. I was really pissed and a bit buzzed last night. This morning over it and glad the our draft placement was preserved. We could have dropped three spots. Get em John.

He should be extended. Built a phenomenal roster and, when healthy, are always in the mix.
So the good picks are luck and the bad picks are incompetence- got it.
You fans overvalue first round selections. All they do is give you a better shot at getting a better player. Once they're selected there is no difference to the team in a first or seventh round pick. It just doesn't matter. All that matters is bringing talent in. Round does not matter.

Houston was a top5 pick.
Offensive line is bad for years!
Secondary was bad for years!
Just one good RB (besides cmc).
You want credit? Sure, Kittle, BA, Samuel (not the recent restructure though). Let's take Bosa as well.

He botched plenty? Are you counting the Lance pick 3 times? Cuz otherwise I'd argue he's 50/50 on first round picks which is probably better than average in the NFL.

I was totally fine with the outcome for draft order and schedule next year. But I wish we just lost the shootout and not due to two more terrible 4th quarter picks by Brock. His struggles and this teams blind commitment to paying him when you don't need to are what kill my vibes about next year.

Our back 7 are about as good as it gets but the dline has to stuff in the middle and has to get to the qb to make the whole thing work. Sorenson still employed? Were they really playing zone on a 4th and 1 at the 1 yard line? 5 yard cusion?😳🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🫣

that was hard to watch from green playing off and allowing the underneath throw in the end zone. have to think that's a rook mistake don't know what he was doing

Green is still learning. He's played pretty well in the second half of the season. Sometimes even the best DBs get juked or miss a coverage. That's what the offense is trying to get them to do with all those motions.

Last years draft was very good,
We have to have another on w/more emphasis on OLine.

2017 - Thomas - bust, did not get 2nd contract
2017 - Foster - bust, did not last through 1st contract
2018 - McGlinchey - avg starter, did not get 2nd contract
2019 - Bosa - great pick, but an obvious pick
2020 - Kinlaw - bust, did not get 2nd contract
2020 - Aiyuk - very good pick
2021 - Lance - bust, traded
2024 - Pearsall - tbd
He's 2/7 if you throw out McGlinchey, 3/7 if you wanna include him.
Either way, those percentages stink.
