John Lynch - 49ers GM

Getting a little tired of reading these moaning and unpleasant posts. If you wouldn't say it to someone's face, don't post it. That is a cowardly thing to do. When people start getting banned for making this place an unpleasant place to hang out, it will be too late to whine about who started it and what rule does it breach anyway, you will be gone.

You don't interview to fill a positon that isn't open.

this isn't like a normal job. you get a feel from your sources on what can possibly get done.

cause if we fire these guys and no one wants to come here.. we get stuck promoting guys again.

I don't know what the statistics actually show...but it sure the hell seems the 49ers have been injury prone. If I was Lynch, I would bring in an outside consultant with no connections on the staff to look at the strength and conditioning approach from the ground up. See if there is anything in what the 49ers are doing that could account for all the injuries.

Might be nothing to this, might be statistically they are average...I have no idea, might just be the schedule this year and the least amount of rest days...I dunno...but if I was Lynch, I would at least attempt to get to the bottom of it...if it is an actual issue....

He already did that a few years back.

besides CMC, i believe all the injuries were gameday

- Bring in competition for the K
- Draft BPA with 1st round pick among OL/DL

I'd hold back from drafting RB/WR/QB this year. You can bring in a few UDFA guys at these positions, but drafting them seems wasteful.

I think we are good at SS. Mustapha may be the future. Might have a shot at resigning Hufanga. If so, we are definitely set there. Need some real free safeties.

I also don't believe we'd get stuck with nobody wanting to come here.
