Reset and reload is part of the FA strategy. They just didn't do much last year and the biggest signing Floyd played as expected IMO. The real payoff could be the comp picks we still have coming.

I agree with you. This 49ers team is going to live and die by how well they draft. They only way to maintain performance while getting cheaper is to find guys in the draft who produce. Last year turned out to be a great draft for the 49ers. That said, there have been a number of years where the team came up totally empty and that can't happen.

Let's include FA. A bunch of misses there too. And Buckner.....

Found a new bone to chew on, eh?

OMG, why is it every time people have to bring up Buckner, he hasn't been that great for the Colts, has yet to put up double digit sacks like he did here, also people forget his size is an issue, was an issue too, easy to push around, IMO he was best suited to be a DE in our scheme, not DT, but that's me, we need someone like D.J. Jones back inside, but people need to stop with this Buckner nonsense, he's also been injury prone for the Colts, I love Buck, miss him, but I've moved on, like I will if/when Deebo is gone.

OMG.....because he was great player at the DT position and is hard to find.

Oh ya, then he drafted Kinlaw.

I.think Lynch has spent more money on 2 WRs than the entire OL including the bloated William's contract with one WR s**tting the bed post contract and the other showing up week 1 and was a non factor before exploding his knee.

If Lynch doesnt re stock this roster in 2025 he needs to go.

Nonsense. You seem to have forgotten that he rebuilt this roster once, and it was way worse than what it is now. This team is in a much better position than it was back then, so stop with the mindless ranting.

Ive always thought DJ Jones was the bigger loss. I can't even take anyone serious bringing up Buckner. Its just troll stuff.

Um, most teams pay their top two wide receivers way more than the line, ignoring rookie contracts. WR's get the big money.

DJ was a big loss.

Wow! Buckner cuts deep. What does your psychologist say about that.
