Very unfortunate

Well at least he isnt a Patriots fan.

lol yeah f**k those guys.

My first MLB baseball game as a kid was at Fenway, so always leaned towards the Red Sox. Plus I hate just about every NY team (yeah I'm that guy in NY lol).

My first game was at Candlestick, back before the Niners moved in and the retractable second deck in right field was constructed to provide them the extra seats the NFL demanded. Went to Fenway once, though. Hey, it's February - nothing to talk about 'til the combine, anyway.

I've never gotten to go to a home Niners game...it's on the bucket list for sure

I thought this was a Kyle thread. We kind of strayed off subject.
anyone read that article that hoyer spending time in shanahan's system made him realize that the ram's had the same type of terminology on offense and that that's how the patriots d was so prepared?

Preparation H.

H for Hoyer
I saw that article.

Hoyer is another example of a guy who could be a good QB coach some day because he understands the game fundamentally but can't make it happen when the bullets fly. To be able to remember the 49er offense after not having been in it for almost a year and a half is impressive.

I'm sure Trenton Brown might have helped a bit too. BB...that sneaky SOB!

Good stuff here... BB is always a step or two ahead, Coughlin and Pederson are anomalies

Good point on Hoyer... has it between the ears, just can't deliver on the field. Might even become a decent OC one day #ShannyTree

Let's hope Terrell Davis is right.

Now's the year for Shanahan to shine. no more excuses. injuries can only be an excuse for so long, and last year injuries defined us in year 2.

year 3, this FO has got to be aggressive in getting the ball rolling. specifically FA. get off to a fast start and hope to have a productive draft. Rams are #1 Seahawks are still a threat and the Cardinals will get better. we have tons of cap space. let's validate the huge ass contract we gave Jimmy G now

They may be active in FA, but I don't know that they are possessed right now with a great spirit of urgency. Everything I have read points to long term building and long term planning. Excuses? I haven't heard any excuses. They appear to accept the circumstances and are working within them. They have six year contracts and I doubt that they feel under specific pressure at the beginning of year three.
