He knows football for sure

He is just not good with personnel decisions as a head coach

Not so new, I have been here for 2 years, don't post a lot in the off-season

That's what the GM is supposed to do. Imo all the pressure is on Lynch/Peters this off-season.
Kyle gets an extra year to prove his worth.

So, who were you pushing for in his place?

I was not pushing for anyone, I think he has been disappointing as hell

you are new here. that is not good enough for some people.lol

As opposed to the alternative b***hing 24/7 with zero opinions of any worth to bring to the table.

Now that I buy. "His guys" certainly have not been strong thus far. A few but this is why great coaches need GM's to shop for them.

Yes. Unfortunately John's haven't been much better either.

Gotta grow up quickly.

i thought that to. then others remind me the real power is kyle and not lynch so who gets a longer leash if we stumble around again next year and we are setting here in a year debating the merits of signing ward again who got a bad break cuz he tore his groin muscle standing around causing him to miss the 2019-20 year

Really dislike shanahan

He is overrrated, keeps guys who shouldn't even be here (as Armstead) and is stubborn as hell with this clown we have for a d coordinator

Unfortunately, with him, I don't see this team improving either short or long term

I mean I would be mad too if I was always second.

I bet it is lying...probably always last

Maybe a weak ass, new account...I highly doubt that it is new in here bruh
He's a smart guy and a good offensive coach, but I always did fear that when he got hired, he'd surround himself with incompetence and inexperience (Saleh....Lynch).

Turns out, I might be right if this keeps up for another few years.

Lynch is MUCH easier to replace than Kyle. That's why Kyle gets a longer leash.
If it was up to me Kyle stays put until his contract is up or hopefully longer.
Arik was solid last year and he's still young. Our pass rush was geared towards Buckner last year, Kiffin's trap. Arik occupied people, sometimes multiple people.

Kiffin spoke of his desire to use DeForest Buckner, clearly the star of San Francisco's stacked interior defensive line, as the focal point of his trap, adding: "I think we have to build everything around Buck. And that's your starting point.

Solly was used like Arik too. Get Buckner a one on one matchup.

Guys, we are talking sports. We don't need to get personal.

lots of good candidates still waiting around for a GM job. I'm shocked that we didn't hire Ron Wolf's son. Think he turned us down or something, can't remember/
