It's like a windback split zone with the fullback as the kicker. I've always wondered who the creator of that play is. Does that nod go to Kyle?

that split flow with the FB is old school IZ, you don't see that much anymore... it's been around since at least the 90s

cant f**king hear you lol

He's right Jonny. You need to normalize the open with your voice. The open is hot, your voice is weak. Are you using Audacity for your audio?

No, the software I'm using for recording is set to record straight off my mic. I'm using a dynamic mic. It may be my connection cable going out cause I just can't seem to get it to come out without some sort of interference. Which sucks cause where I live it'll take me a couple days to get a new cable ordered in :(

anything you and th can think of to shed some hope on these latest injuries? f**k man. starting LT, RT, AND our swiss army knife FB out. I get it's any given Sunday, but does that worry you guys in the slightest?

Heck yeah. That really limits what can be called with confidence. The next 4 teams dont have near the edge guys we've faced in the first 4 games. Each of those teams have had some tough edge guys, Shaq Barrett, who leads the NFL in sacks, Carlos Dunlap, TJ Watt and Myles Garrett. That's a pretty rough slate to start it out. Brian Burns will be our toughest edge guy to play against over the next 4.

But, it's still not like it'll be easy to replace them.
It was a tough test to start the season with those opponent Edges. If the run game can't continue chugging then it's time to use the RBs in the short passing game. Perhaps spread things out a bit by formation to create quick easy looks and more spacing for RAC. If teams decide to blitz these OTs, it helps to not be bunched so that it's easier to disguise blitzes. Going to be interesting how Kyle adjusts.

Imagine how bad it would be if we still had to use Jimmy Raye's playbook.

Im gonna go out on a limb and say that was the Colts playbook on Tecmo Bowl

That's why extending Trent Brown wasn't a priority.

That's a whole other topic.

But we did extend Staley and we'll certainly extend McGlinchey. At some point, you do need talent to shine through for you. Kyle is a master and he's orchestrating magic right now with all sorts of smoke and mirrors but at some point, our run game won't work...the motions won't work...the short passing game won't work...and then you REALLY need your talent on the OL to shine through in pass protection so Jimmy can do his job without fear of being decapitated.

its funny, everytime I watch another offense like the Giants its so damn predictable if they're going to pass or run. yet every time our offense lines up you literally have no idea whats gonna happen. I f**king love it.
I hope Shanahan stays here with the Niners for as long as Bill belichick has with the pats. there's no one else who I'd rather want

I'm with you, but Gus Bradley or maybe even Dan Quinn (when he gets fired) would be a good pairing if and when Saleh leaves to become a HC.

TB: RJames 39 yd TD catch
CIN: Deebo 2 yard TD catch
PIT: Wilson 1 yd TD run
CLE: Kittle 22 yd TD catch

All on the first offensive possession out of halftime. That's adjustments.

I have felt that Shanny 2.0 is on another level since we got him. You can see the plays working even when the players running the plays are not the right guys. In the last few years the performance of some plays are better then the sum of the parts.

Having said that...I really feel bad for Freddie Kitchens. He was out coached. But I really like the Browns mentality. The were very good sports, they were professionals then lined up and did their jobs, there was no animosity, late hits, cheap shots. You could see they respected the 49ers and would pat players on the helmet after a good play.

I like guys who go to work and do their job. The Browns are loaded with guys like that, coached by a guy like that. It makes the OBJ signing a head scratcher. I really don't think he fits on that team from a personality stand point. How long before he implodes what the Browns are trying to build?

Indeed. Or you'd see lots of near misses. I remember this a lot in 2017. I knew, during that 0-9 start that we had the right guy. There was a friend of mine who noticed how the Falcons offense took a tremendous dip in 2017 and he said something along the lines of "both KS and the Falcons probably wish he was back in Atlanta." I told him oh no, we've got the right guy. You just wait and see.

One of the things people have to learn is how to tell when you are winning (by heading in the right direction) even when you are losing.

Is it sacrilege to say Kyle is better at coaching offense than his dad was or too soon?

I think so. Kyle not as successful as his father. But I think he's a better teacher of the offense. When he can get an old dog in Matt Ryan to go play actions and roll outs, to become MVP. Yeah...

The only thing for sure right now is that Kyle appears to do better with QBs. Everything else, I give the nod to Mike until KS wins some rings, has some 1500 yard rushers, etc.

Wow did not realize this at all. Absolutely love Kyle as our coach

Remember those people who wanted to fire Shanahan? lulz.
The f**king boss
Weekly crow eating time! Yummy!

This is the most fun that I have had being wrong since, well, since 2011. I called it then, as for this year, 6-10. I am an idiot. A very happy idiot.
