what position is she coaching?

She was assisting with the wide receivers. I don't know if that will continue to be her role or not.

Well the WR's did great against KC so whatever the WR coaching staff did hopefully continues. We're in Denver and we'll need some offense in that place.

A home game in Denver?

I remember reading somewhere that after our coaching staff started to take shape Mike Lafleur and Mike McDaniel were seen as two young very promising stars coming up through the coaching ranks. McDaniel eventhough the current running game specialist for Kyle was his wide receiver's coach in Cleveland. McDaniel was apparently well liked in the Falcon's organization and was even in the running for their OC job after it was announced that Kyle was leaving.

It's only preseason so we'll see what happens when the real game planning starts, but you could see some of their flare on display Thursday night. The receivers looked solid in their route technique and they were doing some different things in the running game other than just running outside zone. It's a promising start. I think we have some coach's on this staff that are very football smart.

For sure. In the spirit of Bill Walsh, breaking down walls.
Just hope she helps get this team straightened out from a discipline perspective.... it starts at practice.

Kyle strikes me as a guy that knows good coaches, vs Harbaugh who hired good coaches. To me the difference is big. Kyle can spot good coaches even though they are just at a quality control position vs a Harbaugh who hired a guy like Greg Roman because Greg knew Harbaugh from college. I think Kyle will have half the NFL under his coaching tree if he achieves his potential as a great offensive wizard. We shall see but the hiring of a female coach isn't that different than Walsh hiring minority coaches when that wasn't even done then. I am so impressed with Kyle so far. I'm ready to forgive Jed for his screw up with Harbaugh if kyle continues to win.

Yep. Jed's forgiven. No point holding a grudge.

Yikes, big boo boo there! I guess I'm human! Darn!

I just rewatched Atlanta vs Greenbay NFC championship game, and Kyle handled the Green Bay defense with ease. I'm wondering though, if he'll focus too much on offense during his tenure with the 49ers. Green Bay under McCarthy seems to have developed a one sided ball club. Lots of offense and not much defense. I'm glad Kyle drafted defense first and maybe that's how he'll approach his tenure here. While I love great offenses, I'm a tad worried that - we'll have too much offense and not a lot of defense. We shall see...
