I also like to use DVOA from football outsiders...SF is currently having one of the best seasons (both offense/defense) in their history of tracking such data.
Because of our defense. Our offensive DVOA is 12th. I don't know how you can complain about what I said and then refer to a statistic that supports what I'm saying.
I think it's more in, can we really complain considering we're missing both of our starting tackles, fullback and been down 2 receivers that were supposed to be large contributors on the field. Also missed Tevin Coleman for some time, which we saw carry the rock a lot last Sunday.
, SF had one of best overall DVOA scores they've ever seen and that's because of both sides of the ball.
