lol your irrational hate for Jimmy is clouding your judgement.
I defended jimmy g for 6 weeks and that's how he repays me? Look at my post history and you will see that. Jimmy f better step it up or else it's lights out for us
so you chose a game with the worst field and ball conditions imaginable to finally call Jimmy out? lol sure bud.

If I was Shanahan I would be happy that Jimmy got is a win, and has consistently made good decisions and clutch plays all year when the game was on the line and we were in the 4th quarter. I would be less mad about a 4th down interception in the 2nd quarter in god awful field conditions because I would want to encourage my quarterback to continue being a quarterback, and trying to make plays in a low scoring game. That doesn't mean everything he is doing is great, and that there isn't room for improvement. But I'm looking at the differences in his decision making in the 2nd quarter, throwing what ultimately amounted to a short punt vs the 4th quarter, when he consistently drives us down the field for the game winning score.
the INT really didnt even matter. it was 4th down, we were either going to punt or go for a risky FG

Wish I could send this to one of my relatives. Asked me about the Niners this year. Said they're 6-0. Told me he's gonna root for the Niners.
I'm thinking, no- please go back to the Cowboys like the last 2 years, talking like they are going to do something worth a s**t every year, or STFU.

Snake, if you dislike JG that much, why not go elsewhere so we don't have to hear your whining and complaints? Really man, I encourage you to go elsewhere where you are going to like their QB better. Just a guess but i bet nobody will miss you.
Oh, and FTR, he played like a guy playing in a quagmire with ponds on the field. He DID get us down close 3x when we kicked FGs. In that muck, I'll take the W.

Very happy for Mike.
He was a great OC for the Niners.
Steve Young and him were such a great duo.
Good call!

Hats off to kyle for changing things up in the 2nd half. First half didn't look like him. i think the muck didn't get him going. But coming out 2nd half we saw the real kyle. Again, he improves in 2nd half, making changes needed.
Our ZBS with cutback runs, got washed out. Literally. When a RB did cut his feet went out from under him. Happpened to all RBs. Kyle later got away from that, and we did better. Somehow our RBs did get some cut backs in the 2nd half and i think it was when it was still sloppy, but there were some spots on the field they could cut.

I think Kyle works at least as hard as his players, and he wants to win at least as much as they do. The 49ers are ridiculously fun to watch this season, even/especially when sliding all over a field of mud.
I read a lot of bitterness on Falcons boards after their SB loss that they blamed on Kyle. So this thread is so immensely entertaining today: https://boards.atlantafalcons.com/topic/4073885-shanny-man/

Gonna add one more in comparison. Kyle was with the Falcons for 2 years. They had talent but their running game wasn't as developed like the Niners in a 3rd year.
Had they got a more developed run game. Falcons run away with that SB.

Well if the Falcons' defensive head coach had fielded a halfway competent defense, Kyle would have a SB ring already.
I also find it poetic that the Falcons offense have been slowly collapsing since Kyle left. Karmic payback for Matt Ryan publicly blaming Kyle's coaching for their SB loss. I live in Cleveland. I know what bad coaching looks like, and how hard good coaching is to come by. It's just one of many laughably tragic mistakes that the Browns managed to hire Kyle and then made it impossible for him to do his job.
