Shanahan is fantastic.
And the scary thing for the rest of the league is that he has an incredible defense.

It's pretty amazing, the 49ers formula for rebuilding a team. A head coach who's absolutely brilliant on offense, a general manager who knows defense inside out and loves the head coach, and a patient owner who knows to stay out of the way and keep his wallet open.
Kyle reads and plans for opposing defenses so well that I think he would be equally brilliant as a defensive coordinator.

Shanahan and company absolutely coached circles around Rivera and his crew. That was downright incredible.

I love that he has grown so much as a coach since he got here.
Early on you saw him making a lot of rookie HC errors and was struggling with managing the offense and being HC at the same time during a game. I love how he has grown so much (I loved Harbaugh but I always felt like his greatest flaw was that he insisted on doing things his way and not growing/adjusting).
Hopefully this is just the beginning of a great 15-20 year run!!
