I have a feeling, kyle didn't really show much in the run game because he knew they could probably pull out a victory here and save his real game plan for the next time they play at levis.

"49ers haven't beaten anybody yet."
And yet our SOV percentage is above-average among current playoff teams

Here is a big thing.
Think this was the first time we didn't score and first time our defense gave up points after halftime adjustments. Hope that doesn't become a trend.

Team looked gassed imo. Playing a TNF game after a Sunday afternoon game is funny that way.

Kyle playing to win last night was EXACTLY what he did in the Superbowl. Only difference between the Superbowl and last night was our players executed.

Great call there. Got the win & moved on to the next week! Undefeated half way thru the season with a mini bye before a huge divisional game is just what Kyle & this team needs! Go 49ers

I'm sure that people don't care about my weekly crow-eating posts, but there are still occasional "where are all those dudes who doubted Kyle now?" posts, so I have to do it.
I have never been so happy to have been wrong. To my defence, I still believe that a Head Coach is where the buck must stop when things are not going well, just as he is the man to get the credit when things finally turn around. I never said that we should fire him when we were losing, and I never doubted his wonderful OC skills. But I did doubt his ability to become the head man and keep a locker room together. This he has clearly done now. The team is responding despite injuries and despite things going occasionally wrong. That's on the manager and well done that man.
8-0, eh? Who'd have thunk it?

I would've done the same to be the scapegoat for 14 million.

Jed York is bad at hiring head coaches except you know who. I blame him but I don't blame him. He means well, but he's over his head. 49ers need to find someone else to hire coach if they fire Shanahan, say, after next season when he again will suck.
