49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan Thread

Keep doing what you have been doing Kyle
I fully expect Kyle to mess with Wagner the way he did Kuechly and how Walsh did Singletary, this'll be quite enjoyable to watch

If Keuchly can't figure us out, no way Wagner does. They play in similar defenses where the front 4 are heavily relied upon. Thing is that SEA D is inferior to CAR D.
I hope we can have a spy on Wilson.

He's the real difference maker on their team.

If we can limit him- GAME OVER!

like i said earlier in the bosa thread, these awards mean nothing, but it'll be great for them to repeat these at the end of the year

especially kyle, he deserves so much.

Kyle Shanahan does a lot of things really well. Except predict returns from injury.

On the Seahawks

Hope so. Having extra time to prep for this game is huge. I was at the game last year sitting next to a seahawk fan. The look on his face when we won was priceless. I told him his team just got beat by our 3rd string qb. Mullens made them look silly. I'm hoping our DLine dominates and Shanny confuses the hell out of them like Carolina.

We saw what happened when there wasn't time to scheme. It was rugged, but we still pulled out a W. But given a full week, kyle is golden. It will be surprising if kyle doesn't give SEA some looks that after the play we ask, "WTF was that?" Pete Carroll is nobody's fool, but he is just outclassed against kyle, as is every other coach he has gone up against.

On O i expect him to put on his usual show...ie, fascinating. What will be more interesting however, is how he and Saleh (yes both) scheme the D to stop SEA run game. It won't just be Saleh. My bet is kyle will have a huge part in the game planning end of the D. He is the HC and no way he leaves scheming our D to Saleh alone. Not this game and i bet not ANY game.

Depending on how the Toots play on MNF, I'm sure Kyle will try to setup a few plays for the next meeting or in the playoffs. A good competent OC will try to do that if he can while trying to win the game.
Holy crap this is beautiful.

Why is our franchise too cheap to even buy the head coach a chair?
Looks like Kyle tried to hide from York on a 3-10 record.

That picture was on the road, chairs probably don't fit very well in the chests that he's leaning on.

I remember reading a story about Walsh that before they played the dolphins in the Super Bowl, he was laying down in the locker room and started saying things like "man Marino is so amazing, how are we ever going to stop him? Those WR brothers are so fast and amazing, how can we ever cover them?" Etc and then he said "wouldn't it be great to just go out there and kick their ass?!"

I wonder if that is that picture.

Such a badass!!!

Bill Walsh was the ultimate psychologist. He'd grill the team into preparation all week and then before the big game, show how relaxed and confident he was by literally, taking a nap before big games. Nothing to worry about. His team, esp. Joe Cool, played that way.
