49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan Thread

Idk why he didn't go for it on 4th and 1 with the qb sneak instead of throwing that new kicker out there.

Jimmy is like Brady with that qb sneak.Just about unstoppable.

When you get the ball with under 2 minutes to go in a tie game with your opponent not having any of their timeouts.......you should under no circumstance be giving the other team the ball back with like 1:25(or whatever it was) left on the clock. That's terrible game management from the head coach.
That was trash as well. :30 off the clock on that whole drive? Wtf

Oh well. He did get us to 8-0. We'll see these shtihawks again hopefully with a healthy team this time.

This is what I noticed live and was so confused. I felt we were gonna run a screen draw or something to get the clock ticking and go from there , 3 passes is not what should have happened with the way our receivers were catching and OL were protecting.

This is what I was sure was gonna happen overtime with all pressure on that kicker for a 47-48 even he made one earlier, 4& 3 or even 4th and 2 I understand but literally 4th and inches. I felt he Kyle felt the need to be aggressive on our final possession with 3 straight passes, that 4th and inches should have been the time to be aggressive . But hindsight is always crystal clear

Shanny should be ashamed of that. Isn't the goal to win the SB???????????????????????????????????????. Kneel on the flucking ball and walk out with a 2 game advantage. Genius my sass. Trying to throw it 3 times in a row, with a Yugo???? EPIC FAIL
IMO, KS's worst coached game.

Nah. He's got some Ws in game management, too. Last game against the Cardinals being one.

That wasn't a playoff type environment. This one was where we are playing a team that can win it with any possession.

And that first one he was a coordinator....
So now the media is blasting Jimmy G... Had the kicker made the game winning field goal the Niners would be on the winning end of the game and what would the media be saying then?? Jimmy G didnt kick the field goal to lose the game, neither did he lose the game with an INT in the end. It was Russell Wilson who threw an INT close to the end zone as the Seahawks were knocking on the door to win the game.. but no one is saying a thing!

You need to put all your conditions/qualifiers on the table ahead of time.

He's 0-1. Wasn't the HC in Atlanta, doesn't count.
People blames Saleh for the tacking last year, is it time to blame Shanahan for the drops?

Ugh, below average game by Shanahan regardless.

I'm guessing you only remember the ones that didn't result in a W
