It's crazy how many points we are scoring now and the amount of TD's we have a game.
I remember during the the Tomsula and Chip Kelly era - we had ridiculous records of like not scoring in the fourth quarter almost all year. Even under harbaugh we always were kicking field goals because we were really bad in the red zone.
This team is crazy and we have a lot to work on but I am so glad we don't have to deal with that anymore - we expect touchdowns and a handful everygame.

If only they kicked the extra point... They would of won by 11 instead of 10....
Yeah, but Az was up 3 late. You take the extra point and a FG wins there. Glad everything worked out.

I'm not concerned about the running game. That's kinda to be expected when you have too many key injuries at key spots. Zona was loading up that box and rightfully so.
We need that physical WR to really make this train moving. Wait til we get healthy

I blame Jimmy's first INT on Shanahan's head scratchingly terrible play design where he put a trips bunch on one side of the field, and then had Jimmy throw a long pass across his body. For the defense, it was an incredibly easy play to defend. Jimmy wasn't blameless (he made the throw), but I think we needed to make the Cards cover the whole field...not just one half of it.

I like getting the screen game going. That helped back off the Cardinals a bit. Juice was exceptional today

If they had kicked the extra point, Arizona goes for two points guaranteed and you're probably still in the exact same spot scorewise. I wasn't a fan of the decision but I don't think it changed much in the grand scheme of things.

For now, Juice, Dwelley and Deebo will have to do.

Forcing them to go for two is good though. We ultimately won though so I'm happy.

For what it's worth, had #49ers TE Ross Dwelley's third-down catch been ruled short of the first down, coach Kyle Shanahan said he was going to go for it on fourth down.

This last stretch of the season will be very interesting to see how Kyle handles it, it is his greatest challenge as a coach yet.
Odds are we are going to lose 1-2 of the games - its just a brutal stretch of games for any team. but if we do lose a game or two - it means that week 17 will be for the division and a bye week between us and the seahawks.
going to be super stressful for us as fans haha hopefully the Saints and Seahawks lose a few games before season ends.

I checked through some of the scenarios for Niners getting 2pts at Cards 19- Niners 23+2.
What it essentially came down to is, at 25, the Cards can only tie the game with 2 field goals or if they score a TD with a 1 or 2pts conversion, afterward the Niners can still win with a field goal.

At least the league is consistent on being stubborn about re-spotting the ball.
You win some and you lose some.

It will never make sense to me. There is more than enough technology to accurately spot the ball (see technology used in, say, the EPL). While it would never be 100% accurate, I'd wager you could spot the ball within 3 inches with 95% certainty. If the NFL is going to go the route of allowing one to challenge calls, then you need to have the challenge process be more accurate than the nature of making a call in the heat of the moment, and right now, it simply isn't. The challenge process is as subjective as the original call. It's ridiculous.
