Wow that is just crazy in the NFL for the top target on your team to get that wide open

Both plays are still coming from Shanahan, the QB can kill one and go to the other depending on what look the defense is giving.

ShanaHan better do his genius stuff and destroy that Baltimore defense, because I don't think any defense can stop that Baltimore offense (Bellicheat tried and failed) now I think our defense can slow that *offense* down, but I think the key to victory is our offense destroying that Baltimore defense.

I think our offense can score on their defense - the question is can our defense stop their offense.

We're gonna have to control the time of possession and wear out the Baltimore defense

Having an athlete like Kittle helps no doubt. An amazing playcall/audible all around.

Absolutely agree
Kyle is going to carry his water, but I worry about Mr. Clean doing the same.

I don't think Baltimore is built to come from behind. They look like a typical power running team that is decent on the pass so teams can't lock in and overload their run game. But if they have to pass because they are behind, I don't think they have enough receivers to beat nickel defense and I don't think their receivers are good enough to beat man coverage consistently. It looks like that offense faces zone all the time because of Lamar Jackson's running ability and if their WR's get locked up into man on man defense - can they uncover and separate? In other words, the teams they beat, they got an early lead on, the teams they lost to - they fell behind.

Still can't believe he has a broken bone in his ankle lol.

I don't remember where I heard it recently, but Carson Palmer was being interviewed on a podcast, and was asked who his favorite play caller was.

His answer was Shanahan. He said that in the NFL, QBs usually only see 1 or 2 "gimme completions" where the QB has a clean pocket and a guy running wide open for an easy pitch and catch. With Shanahan, you get 4 or 5 a game.

Yeah, when kyle calls plays in it starts with "can to" then whatever secondary play they have, then the first play called.

So, when you hear that, "Can! Can!" That's just switching to the secondary play.
It can be simple sometimes. Like, can to a run if there's 2 deep safeties. Or can a cover 2 beater play to a weak side run of they bring a safety down.
Sometimes they fake the can call just to keep the defense from predicting what the calls are.
AKA the Kyle Shanahan-effect.

This, with the most prominent player on the field that DC's game plan to try and stop.

Ref about throw the flag for offensive pass interference on Kittle but couldn't find a Packer defender close by
