Meanwhile, the Browns are giving Kizer much-needed reps in game, while CJ is wasting away on the bench.

Hue > Shanahan.

Ohh and Kizer > Cousins.

And Alex Smith > Cousins. Not even close.

Never go full retard in week 1.

Unless they do something about the guards, it doesn't really matter.

Seattle has an even stronger DL than Carolina. Its expected to see a more lopsided score next week, so Seattle can have their yearly "rebound" game against us after the Packers embarrassed them

Kirk will be our QB next year.

If you saw much of the WASH /PHILLY game you did NOT see a good performance by Cousins. He didn't look much better if any than Hoyer. Still, overall, hoyer did not have a good game. Missed passes, got blindsided twice at least, both resulting in TDs being scored by Panthers. Our OG to OG OL blocking...was putrid. Looked a lot like the old Houston OIlers OL "LOOKOUT" blocks...when after whiffing on a block the OG turned around and yells "LOOKOUT". Kilgore got beat right up the gut several times also. Good news is we got Magnus as a potential OG as well as Laken. We don't know about those two yet, but after the disastrous line blocking yesterday, we better be seeing those two guys real soon.

But hoyer also dropped a 40 some yard dime on Marquis on the goal line, who promptly dropped it. Then next qtr, old reliable, #44 had a ball hit him right between the numbers, and dropped it. It was like a contagious disease. Then after a series of those, Hoyer got rattled adn was off target on a number of passes. Had a delay of game penalty, on Kyle, had some bad play calls on kyle, and for awhile it looked like he lost his cool. Going for it on 4th down and one and 4th and 3 the other time, failed. We ahve to get our OGs and C to block better. I thought they were better than that, but fusco and beadles did NOT block well. Kilgore whiffed on one right up the gut...

I didn't see much difference in quality of play between the two Qbs. Both had bad days, boht are better than they showed. Put this one in the trash can and do NOT save to learn from. There was nothing to learn from here.

On D, Reuben was a star. Then that horrible knee/ankle imitation of Joe Theisman's last play in the NFL, and i thought REuben's careeer was over. Hopefully not as he certainly looks like a once in a generation player. Hope he is recouped the next 3-4 weeks....keep him off the field and let that ankle ( and if knee also) heal. Good game to forget.

Hoyer is not better than Kap. Last year sucked but Kap was better than Hoyer was yesterday.
I don't think Kap is the answer but Hoyer was crap yesterday.
Time to pick up the pieces and move on.... KS will get better at this over time.

clock management was horrendous. Coming from a former OC, this is concerning.

Did not ease leftover concerns from February.

Go take a walk outside or something. Jesus

Oh snap. I guess this means Kizer is winning NFL MVP this year.
AWP sounds like you're confused with which team to follow. #browns #kiZerhurracaneComing #HuEtsunamiComing

if he's gonna be playing OC/HC, he needs to hire a dude who's only job is clock management.

On the 49ers FB page, all the comments about people wanting Kaep back . Kaep is not the answer, neither is Hoyer.

yeah he looked flustered on the sideline. He needs an assistant or something so he can split up gameday duties. Maybe something he'll learn this season.

Looks like we have a hater over here. Seriously dude.

I don't take awp seriously. You shouldn't, either.

Just hire an offensive coordinator, and give him head coaching duties. Call timeouts when necessary. Its clear that Kyle has way too much s**t on his plate. Heck, you can give Chip Kelly a call. As long as were not using his s**t scheme, I wouldn't mind having him around

Doc, I'm not too worried about the offense yet. I expected them to be horrid coming out the gate. Offenses always lag behind defenses, and our guys, I think are brand new to the team. No pass receiver from last year is here anymore so there is going to be that period of time where the chemistry of the offense has to gel. I think Kyle and Lynch just has to ignore the heat that's on them right now and focus on getting those plays in on time and get better in all facets of the game. This year is a given that it's going to suck, so I don't see why they have to continually beg forgiveness - Jed and Baalke are the culprits here, not them.

I'll give them a couple more games and if those stupid illegal formation penalties or offsides and horrid clock management continue to be an issue, then I'll know this coaching staff and front office may not last as long as their contract says. Hoyer did ok, he had passes dropped, the O Line as usually sucked, defense played surprisingly decent, and Hyde did have some good ground game production. Goodwin has to catch those long ball passes when it comes to him, this offense won't have that many considering how the state of the O Line is. I think we're a draft or two away from a solid 8-8 or 10 - 6 team. Right now, even 6-10 doesn't look so good.
