Demoted to third string on the bengals and put his house up for sale after getting in a shouting match with the bengals defensive line coach on the sideline vs the browns.
sounds like a headache

Sounds like a Competitor who wants to play. If we can afford him, next to getting Kerrigan, would be our best trade option.

A player with something to still prove is good to have.

Dudes played 11 years for a team that can't get over the hump and sustain success I could only assume that will wear you down over time. Being a disgruntled player lowers trade value as well so there's that lol

would love to have him, but just being honest. He will most likely end up on the Raiders.

The perfect storm for me would be trade for Matt Ryan then trade Garoppolo back to the Patriots and draft a guy that can develop under Ryan for a couple of years. Ryan has a potential out in 2022 and can redo his deal to help the 49ers cap for a couple of years. Ideas?

Hard pass on that whiny b***h. If they really don't have faith in Garoppolo then it would make more sense just to go ahead and draft a QB to develop for a season and then move on from Garoppolo rather than bringing in some aging, malcontent that threw Shanahan under the bus just as he was leaving.

Honestly folks should be banned for suggesting we should replace our QB with Matty "ice" . Most inappropriate nickname in pro sports

Bygones will be bygones. He can whine all he wants as long as we get that elusive ring!
I don't get trading for or signing a Vet QB unless it is Rodgers. Other than that, draft a guy who is cheap on a rookie Deal so you can keep the core guys together.

I can only hope that Garoppolo makes significant progress over the next few weeks. If not, it will be time to find an replacement.

IMHO I don't think it matters. I think Jimmy is gone. After that first pick Kyle was pissed, and when they briefly showed it Kyle was just done chewing him out and when Jimmy began to talk.. Kyle was like fk it I'm out and walked away.

Noticed how we very rarely even throw the ball downfield?
I mean on the deep ball to Aiyuk.. if he leads him properly it's an easy TD . Instead he leads him towards the sideline.

I hope I'm wrong but I wouldn't be shocked if he's gone. No matter what he does.

It's not all on Jimmy. Our line isn't built to pass protect for deep passes, especially not with our 3rd string center playing.

IDK man, especially after watching the film today...it's a consistent theme. He did have time on his deep throws yesterday which did not pan out. He was very efficient with the short passes.
Hes doing one hell of a job. Hes right behind Tomlin and Vrabel for coach of year. He should have won it last year but whateves.
Looking at the thread right now This is a little off topic, but I'm sitting here in the restroom when I just thought, "why don't we use Richie James for the end arounds or Dante if they ever activate him again." Aren't they both supposed to be elusive as well as being fast?

The consistent theme I saw was that Shanahan was in constant chess with NE's fronts and off-ball defenders. It was total cat and mouse, NE would go 6-1, we'd hit inside or bubble screen where we had numbers, they'd go 5-2, we'd hit the edge with stretch and toss, they went 4, we'd throw, they went 5 and zone, we'd throw. That's what I saw.

I wonder what it would take to get Rodgers? Garropolo plus a first and second? I would do it in heartbeat. And I am Jimmy supporter.

Why? Wilson has struggled against us for the most part when the team has been able to compete. Mahomes struggled too but he's the only guy in the league who makes that throw to Tyreke Hill.
