49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan Thread

Grammar is embarrassing and now we have some fan getting on the front page calling for Shanny to be on the hot seat. Jfc. His entire team is injured including the QB and they are still in the playoff hunt (expanded by one team). This fan says shanny "featured" Hasty... umm yeah man the rest of the Arby's are hurt, including Coleman.

Embarrassing article. The zone aggregates real articles and opinion pieces from creditable writers, why the need for drunk fans at the bar typing up some nonsense?

This. I don't get it.
Anyone considering replacing Kyle is just begging for Tomsula 2.0, even if they don't realize it.

The grass is NOT greener on the other side.

I agree. Shanahan is a great coach and we are waiting for him to be a great Head coach. I still question his leadership. I also question some of his gameplans. With that said, we have a coach who is hopefully going to learn from his mistakes. It very well known that you can't win in the nfl with a below average QB. Jimmy has not shown he's grown and matured in this offense. Still doesn't read or have the confidence to make the throws to make the engine go.
ShanaLynch certainly have their blind spots.

I just hope 2020 doesn't divide them.

All talk about firing him should be drowned out.

Kyle just needs to put his balls on the table, and draft a 1st round QB.

Then we'll see if he is a genius or not.

Andy Reid did it with Mahomes and McNabb

And no, I do not want any has-beens like Matty Ice or Captain Kirk Cousins. That to me just says that Kyle has no confidence in his ability to scout and develop a quarterback.

If someone doesn't $#IT or get off the pot, Shanahan could very well have his THIRD losing season in four years.....

I do not know why he gets it into his head to try to outsmart himself. as if he is trying to show the world how smart he is. reminds of roman at times

The 49ers always play and coach scared against Seattle. The coaches game plan was super Vanilla. Where's the creator of last week's run game? What about the game plan we ran out against the vikings and Green Bay last year in the playoffs? Why does Kyle always overthink it in pivotal games? You only trust jimmy to throw short last week and it worked to keep the ball and sustain drives. This week, we play the QB who's having the best season of any player and you pull out a deeper drop and throwing the ball down the field into trouble. Jimmy hasn't shown he's capable of any throws down the field and our offensive line can't pass block on 7 step drops. Our coaches totally blew this game.

We didn't have the personnel on the field to run the game plan we ran in the playoffs last year. We didn't even have the personnel to run what we ran last week.

The truth is, injuries and the QB play is holding the game plan back. Full stop.

we always get hurt vs seattle.. we just are not a team this year that can respond if someone hits us in the mouth

Who the hell has considered replacing Kyle? I've just heard complaints and frustrations. Who is out there to replace him with? I haven't heard any names mentioned in this thread, or online.

You know sometimes I wonder how some of yall are with your kids.. family members... close friends...

If you love them, do you blindly support everything they do? Good or bad? Na f**k that, I call out the BS.

3rd and 5, when we had momentum...in an important game that could have got us closer to the top of the division (which seemed unthinkable a few weeks ago)... against the Seahawks of all teams... with most of our key players injuried... we get some momentum early in the game... no fans in that loud ass stadium... an opportunity to score early..

And you f**king call a wildcat play from 5 yards out, on f**king 3rd down? With our worse RBs to boot?

Jimmy gets injured against the Jets.. is limping on hand offs. Take his ass out of the game right away and find out what's wrong. Don't wait until the end of the half.

This is just some of the examples with Kyle... great at designing plays, yet lets ego (when it comes to personnel as well) and stubbornness get in his way of being a great head coach.

This is what, his 4th season? Just like with players, he needs to get his head out of his ass and go back to fundamentals. Just use common sense. You're already a great play designer. Use common sense when it comes to depth chart, key personnel changes (Brian who Allen)....and calls on the field.

So yeah I'll continue to b***h because that's all we can do. When something is wrong, we should point it out. Instead of being in denial about it and just blindly accepting. If we don't, then we'll lose perspective of what wrong is.
