Then he should stop drafting midgets.

if kyle is actually itching to throw deep, then I do not understand why these midgets like Trent Taylor keep getting reps in practice
You guys need to understand that he has positional coaches that he needs to listen to as well if not then what's their purpose. Taylor needs to go. He is no good at anything at this level. He is Welker with nothing to offer.

He's not even welker who showed some potential at miami before landing with NE. He's a 6 game flash in the pan 3 years ago who had to start because that WR core was worse than this one.

Trent was awesome until injured. He was owed at least a try. Now We know. No biggie

Awesome? are you serious? no one outside of the 49ers fan base even knows who trent taylor is.

That's due to two years of injuries. Like I pointed out. He and jimmy were awesome on 3rd downs. Fact.

He's getting his shot now when healthy, But he's not the same. No harm done and will most likely be gone after this year

We´re talking about getting a frachise QB.

I like Kyle but he´s the man that passed on Mahomes and Watson because he wanted Cousins.

If everyone knew mahomes was going to be mahomes, then mahomes would have went first overall.

yes....I like Kyle as a coach and a play designer. But his quarterback evaluation and his comments about it in media interviews leave a lot to be desired

It's up to the qb to play well also.

You're labeling "awesome" on an extremely small sample size with a guy who has 722 career yards and not a single 100 yard game...even during the small stint with JG in 2017 you're referring to.

He's not close to awesome and wasn't pre-injury. he was just an option among very limited ones on a talent deficient team.

Shanny more interested in his own scheme and play design than he is in actually coaching up and building players. Seems like a guy that gets into pissing contests.

Learn it, fit in, or get out. that's the vibe i get.

He's catered to every qb he's coached and none of the offenses have been the same. We need a better qb which is hard to get

So what you're saying is he can't coach a QB up. He just needs a plug and play solution? Everyone hates the Harbaugh comparisons but Harbaugh made Alex into a quality starter. All Shanahan apparently does is "hide" his QB's. Development doesn't stop at the college level.

harbaugh hid Alex too. Greg Roman solved all our problems with that running game. Jimmy Raye was just a dumbass who only had "HB Dive" for Gore up the middle in his playbook

I think this may be the case. Imo he wants to win, but it has to be his way and he needs to be MVP. We need a QB that transcends his system and can make plays in spite of it and when everything goes to hell (a lot like now).

.. this kid must be smart and been reading my POSTS!!

Jed gets a lot of justified s**t for the Harbaugh debacle but if some of y'all were in charge we would be firing every coach that doesn't go 19-0 every year.

ACTUALLY, the real story on the Harbaugh issue was that he never wanted total control but he wanted Baalke to allow him to draft players that he wanted.

I know for a fact that Harbaugh wanted Ertz and did not want LeMichael James.. Harbaugh also wanted to keep Iuapati and sign other free agents but Baalke wanted to do the Patriot way believing that he's as good a Bilichick.

It was also Baalke's idea to NOT sign Manning because he felt that it would stunt Kaep's growth. There were veteran signings (Lloyd) that Harbaugh did not want but was FORCED to use because of the fact that Baalke would look bad for signing the aging veteran..

Don't be surprise if Harbaugh stays in Michigan to coach the Lions.

Uhhh this has nothing to do with my reply but...ok.

I regret mentioning Harbaugh, he's such old news

Kyle is an X's and O's guy who let's the position coaches "coach up" the players. That's why were have Kocurek, Welker, Ryans, Bobby Turner etc

If you look at our coaching roster there's a clear line between scheme/strategy coaches and technique coaches. For instance we have a QB coach and a separate passing game coordinator, an RB coach and a run game coordinator.
