The choice of a qb lands on shanahan and no one else. He has had 4 years to get a qb that he wanted. He had garapollo. If you're arguing that garapollo sucks that's on kyle.

We are 4 years down the road and you're saying he needs to have a serviceable qb? That is such an excuse. It's 9nbkype to have already picked the qb he is going to base his team on.

You can make all the arguments you want but at the end of the day it's all about results. I'm not calling for his firing, but he should be on the hot seat of they don't produce within 2 years. How many more years are you willing to give shanahan? 3? 4? 6?

They've drafted ONE QB on day 3 and had Jimmy fall in their laps...it was suppose to be Kirk and NO ONE knows how he would have done with kyle here.

You're cherry picking anything to find a way to complain about.

This team went from complete trash to a SB in 3 yrs, now in a Covid football season with $80M worth of players on IR your b***hing about nonsense.

If you want to argue that Shanahan is a good coach, but hes made his mistakes, thats fine. I get it. But you cant tell me its been perfect. Far from it. and it needs to be pointed out. To put all of your eggs in the Kirk Cousins (Mr 8-8) basket, was such a huge mistake, and it needs to be called out. Its not that I do not want him to succeed, I have serious concerns, and I hope I am wrong. I personally give him two more years after this year. If we have two more losing seasons with Shanahan there are serious problems.

Plus, I blame Jed. He is so quick to pull the trigger. He hired Singletary immediately. He gave Kyle and Lynch contract extensions after a superbowl loss. Can you imagine Eddie D doing that?

f**king disgusting the hate Shanahan is getting now from some fans. It seems like there is a weird divide. Some biased Jimmy Garoppolo fans hate Shanahan and choose #10 over the Niners franchise. Reminds me of a certain politician

Shanahan is the best coach we've had since George Seifert. He was playing with a CFL roster last night for f**ks sake. His starting QB is always hurt and the QB play this year has been abysmal. The NFL forced him to play with a CFL squad even though Bourne tested negative multiple times now

True Niner fans are still out here. Kyle Shanahan should be the Niners coach for many years. We should have won the super bowl last year if the QB hit an open Emmanuel Sanders. What a remarkable turnaround and our roster is still stacked going into next year

People who hate on a mastermind like Kyle are frauds.

Harbaugh took the team to a superbowl in his second year. He got fired after year 4. Why cant the same arguments be made about Shanahan?

Harbaugh never had a losing season in 4 years. Shanahan will have 3 losing seasons in 4 years. Lets see how the next two years will play out. I have a feeling not very good, but l hope im wrong.

If you don't see the difference in the roster when Harbaugh took over compared to the when Kyle took over, then you aren't seeing the entire picture.

Harbaugh got handed over a good roster. Kyle got handed over a bunch of scrubs and Hoyer as his QB. This year, the entire team is f**king hurt. Did you watch the game yesterday. Some WR names Cray Cray was playing

Shanahan won't wear on the team like Harbaugh. You'll get Tomsula 2.0 with a Kyle replacement.

Kyle turned s**t into a roster

I understand that he inherited an empty roster with a FANTASTIC cap situation. That was part of the appeal, so he can build the team he wanted it built. But here we are 4 years later with a TERRIBLE cap situation, and it looks like the roster is going to turn to garbage again with the upcoming cap reduction and the number of FA coming up. The team that was built in 4 years was not built to last, and it looks like we are headed into another rebuild. Thats what is sad to me. I have never seen a superbowl window close this fast.

You say your objective but it's all just anger. He's not great, but he's not tripping over his shoe laces out there like you try to make it be.

For someone with all these faults you say..

moving the ball downfield with his arm

-throwing past the 1st down marker (bottom in the league past two yrs)
-reading defenses pre/post snap.
-mechanics overall
-staying healthy
-mobility
-overall arm talent

Can not lead the league in 3rd conversions..

I'm not angry at all dude lol. I'm calling it as a lot of people who have absolutely no ties to SF call it with him...an avg talent.

What you think analytical stats are lying lol? Like they have som agenda against our QB?

When you throw short of the 1st down stick more than anyone and have the best play makers at getting YAC you can very well lead the league in 3rd down conversions...it happened last yr. that's not some amazing attribute for our QB imo.

Look IMO the only things he's great at is getting rid of the ball fast, being somewhat of a leader/good teammate, and having a great chin line. Just about every other attribute you want in a QB he's either avg or below avg at.

Most teams that have good players that they have to pay don't have great cap situations. Most teams that have a lot of cap space either blow or have a rookie QB on a rookie contract.
