Too bad the injury bug hit us worst this year or we would have had a great season again

I concur. Especially since the other good teams have huge weaknesses in the nfc

Seattle horrendous D
GB horrendous run D
Saints Brees regressing and D not so great
TB horrible OL and avg secondary

It would of been so easy this year

the amount of overreaction on the webzone these last couple weeks is hillarious. people really forget where this team has been the last decade an where we are now. idiots.

im sorry but the truth is needed right now. soooooo much overreaction. our roster is decimated by injury to historic levels an everyone wants to find a palyer or coach to blame.

Lol you've been here since 2012 and you just now figure this out?

Maybe this belongs in the JL thread but I need to clarify something.

What the 9ers did with Buckner is exactly what happens when you draft well.

You get a guy in the draft and he becomes elite. For instance Buckner.

You can't pay high prices for everyone. They got Bosa and he made Buckner expendable. Pay AA and we get almost same production with Bosa. Obviously we have seen without, we suck.

Let other teams pay out the ass for our picks when we can get a younger version for cheaper (Kinlaw).

You're always rotating guys in and out on the team. Some players are core. Warner, Bosa, trent williams, to name 3. Williams is an example of us getting the elite guy. Gona have to pay to keep. Maybe won't.

A good GM and coach will figure out how to sustain a winning team without breaking the bank. It's whats supposed to keep the NFL competitive.

Teams are ever evolving, they never stay the same. This team would have been good this year without all the injuries.

AA is pretty useless with or without Bosa.
Bosa+Buckner is much better.

We weren't shopping for a QB though.

He should have been...
It was literally the biggest need on the team and 3t wasn't top 5.

QB was definitely a need but I see why he passed on them because the system they ran in college. But he needs to change on how he evaluates qbs because all of them well most run a spread offense and they can succeed because we're seeing it year after year in the NFL.

In hindsight you're right but at the time the entire team was a mess. No arguments over what a terrible pick Solomon was though. Never liked the pick.

Its called the Marvin Lewis syndrome. Stick with mediocrity because of your fear that you can be worse.

We were a throw away from number six last year. Wtf are you talking about. Lewis can't hold Shanahan's jock strap

Lewis I think never won a playoff game.

Think about that for a second.

I am no fan of AA. But, I firmly believe Kinlaw will prove to be better, for this team, in the long run. I think Kinlaw is going to be a beast. Kinlaw, with AA, may turn out to be better than Buckner (with Bosa et al.).

That said, Kinlaw, plus AA's salary going to a quality DB or trading AA for draft picks might prove to have been the more prudent move

I mean, cmon. No one knew how good of NFL players they would become.

Yea....it was a bad move. They drafted DT 3 drafts in the row.

Woulda, coulda, shoulda. He didn't. Get over it.
Kyle will get his chance at his prototypical QB when Zach Wilson falls into our laps.

HOW did Crey Crey get all his time over Kevin White?

I think Wes Wilker really has a man crush on both Taylor and Crey that he wants to see them in action..

Don't Shanny sit w/all the coaches we have in a conference room and talkabout players who should get some time and does well on certain plays ???

WHITE must be doing something good in practices that he's still here... so if that's the case, why not use him on whatever strength he shows in practices?

If Sanu got that chance, White should too.. I mean, size and speed alone, danggg, the "next great mind in football - shanny" must know a way to use whatever

talent White has left...
