49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan Thread

More concerned with being right and seemingly shaming or punishing his qbs for not executing than he is with building them up

You all who hate Shanahan for not winning with practice squad talent starting deserve 10 straight seasons of 0-16 without him

DESERVE IT.

It is time the 49ers moved on from Shanahan. He is indecisive, can't read a defense and make too many bone head throws into coverage

Please; enlighten me and defend those decisions.

He's getting out coached by f**king SALEH, who doesn't have Bosa Ford Buckner Sherman tartt etc etc

That's not a good head coach. Sorry. Tomlin belichick and Carroll do more with the same situation.

And they win the big one too.

Great OC; s**t HC.

Again Klye is the most overrated HC we have ever had and probably the most overrated in the NFL.

We all want a rookie QB next season but with Shanahan's coaching record going into next season he cannot and will not chance a rookie starting, even if it were to be Lawrence or Fields. We are trading for an established NFL QB folks. Klye will be on the hot seat entering next season. Right now he looks like another Norv Turner, great OC but struggling HC

Details how Kyle is overrated. Please give us an in depth analysis of why he's overrated.

How about he can't win a game unless Garoppolo (who by all accounts on this site, isn't even a good qb) is playing

Really disappointed with Kyle today. Over 3 quarters of one guy blitzing out of the slot like a bat out of hell and you make no adjustments for it. He's too smart to look this incompetent.

What do you want him to do with the practice squad out there?

Well that's a lousy excuse. You're telling me Hasty/Walters(the only two guys off the PS) is the reason he couldn't make a slight adjustment for over three quarters.

They could manage more than a td.

They could not continuously play Jerick mckinnon who runs slower than me.

They could not call conservatively.

They could not do a draw five yard behind LOS on 4th and 1 to said dead legged rb.

Roster is decimated no doubt. But Shanahan sucks and can't adjust his system. Inflexible. Stubborn. Childish

So who do you hire?

3 losses away from having his 3rd losing season in 4....I bet he can do it.

maybe read the whole post instead of quoting one part of it. It goes beyond injuries and play calling. This team lost in the offseason as far as I am concerned.

I did read your whole s**tty post. There was nothing wrong with the personnel they planned on having on this roster. All the key pieces of it (sans Warner) are gone.

Just compare the starting roster between this Saints game and the one last year. Now compare which how many of those players they purposely let go. Buckner/Sanders is it, and they were the two adequately replaced by Kinlaw/Aiyuk today - as planned. It's the dozen other spots missing their intended starters that is the difference.

Pssst.... no coach can overcome these personnel losses. NONE. It was a miracle that Shanny was able to scheme the wins against LA and NE, but one can only scheme so much to try and overcome lack of playmaker talent.

Just ask 3-5 Belichick.

Yes, he's so overrated he didn't win with his practice squad.

I'll be shocked if this team doesn't lose out. They simply do not have the horses.

Context is king, though. 2/4 seasons lost to key roster injuries. If he's judged on those then this franchise deserves the Tomsulas of the world to lead the team to endless 2-to-5 win seasons.

That's not in depth that's just lazy. Saying a coach is bad cause he can't win without his starting QB. Holy s**t I guess Tomlin sucks cause last year without Big Ben his team blew.

Steelers went 8-8 last year. Something the 49ers aren't going to sniff this year.

If it was *just* Garoppolo out it would be manageable.

But it's not *just* Garoppolo.

It's Bosa, Kittle, Sherman, Tartt, Mostert, Samuel, Richburg, Williams, Coleman, Wilson, Thomas, and on and on and on.

Far too much lost talent *aside from the QB talent* not playing.
