I'd say that's common when you can't build chemistry due to injuries.

Only so much time to develop a game-plan..... especially in these times.

Great. What's he doing this year with a depleted roster?

Same but then I don't get why people are complaining about losing meaningless games. This team isn't winning a SB this year. If you're going to suck, may as well suck all the way and get into the best possible draft position to get that QB.

This roster filled with practice squad guys isn't going to miraculously stumble into the playoffs, especially not in the NFC West. Losing now does more for the team in the long term, being in the best position to get that franchise QB prospect. So I aint even mad right now.

Yep.

I'm already in the Bosa draft year mode, counting possible wins left and on gameday hoping for QB needy teams teams to win and possible trade partner teams to lose.

Belichick also lost the SB a few times. Once with his most talented roster.

Kyle can't walk on the field and tell mullens to pull his head out of his ass before every play.

Almost as if we were down a QB (the guy responsible for recognizing the blitz) and a dozen RBs.

The saints dialed up a good defensive scheme to attack our weak link..... our backup qb/rb combo

The fact that you think our weak link is Shanahan is beyond hilarious. Dude has his flaws and makes mistakes like everyone..... but he's our single best asset within the organization.
Where did I say Kyle is the weakest link? You are now going to attribute stuff that I never said to me?

I don't think Kyle is the weakest link or even a weak link. What I did say is that many calls today have been subpar, and the inability to adjust to corner blitzes looked embarrassing. At two minute warning Kyle had plenty of time to dial up two plays, and instead of points one way we got 7 the other way. The stubborness to run McKinnon. And what was that designated long throw 3rd and long CJ Beathard appearance?

What's hilarious is your apparent inability to read. It was a bad game. Coaches, like players, have bad games. No need to have your panties in a bunch when someone says the truth - today Kyle did not call a good game. Never have I said he is the problem or even a problem.
Looks like shanny is back to his losing self after that one fluke season last year.

Pretty much. But perhaps there is some untapped genius out there who can take a roster with over a dozen guys coming in off the street during the season, with a 5th string RB, backup QB, no healthy edge rushers and make them into a SB contender.

It's worth firing Shanahan and then hiring and firing a HC every single year for the next decade to try and find them just in the off chance they exist.

This.

In the end, does it really matter? He's running a roster filled with a bunch of guys who are guaranteed not to be back next year. Most of his top tier talent is on the shelf so really there's only so much you can do when it comes to running out players that don't fully know your scheme, that haven't mastered the playbook and are replacement quality or below. You can make the best playcalls in the world and a lack of talent will still prevent them from being executed properly.

Lol. If only he could do more with this preseason depth chart.
The silly gadget plays did them in early on and killed some drives. Kyle has to get away from those but I guess he doesn't trust his QBs to throw the ball downfield.

He needs to move on from McKinnon and only bring him in on passing downs. He doesn't hit the hole hard.

It was a bad game for Kyle but then again we weren't going to win and another loss just means better draft position.

Bring who in though? There's basically no one left, especially after Hasty just broke his collarbone. Its going to be more RBs coming in off the street.

It's his roster so yes if he continues to have injuries out of the injury prone players he consistently signs and drafts and counts on then it is on him.

And a decade of 1-15? This is the same stuff people said when Jed fired Harbaugh who was a perennial winner.

Yah cuz Michigan is in a great spot.

Nobody cares this the nfl. 75% of his seasons are losing.
