When Winston came in, there was a chance. Fumbles and short fields were the big difference. Ward's dropped INT was big as well.

What would winning have done long term? So they finish 7-9 or 8-8 instead of 6-10? I'm not really seeing the upside here.

Doesn't matter when BDN is good for at least 1 RZ INT a game. Think he had 2 this game?

I mean we squeak out a b******t win...then what lol? This isn't a SB roster too many guys on IR to do anything substantial imo.

Season is done...I could careless about a 4th & 1 read-option. They weren't gonna win the game even with Jimmy as the QB.

Kyle can only polish up a turd so much...injures killed this team from the get go. Hopefully this season will net us a good rookie QB. I'll watch to see the rookies and young players. I don't care about Ws at this pt.

He needs a can of Turdel wax.

yup you're right kyle is the problem.. nothing to do with the overall landscape of the roster right now.

I can't take this nonsense serious

Then don't respond. I also haven't said kyle is the problem. its obvious the toll the injuries have taken....but somehow despite all of that Kyle also seems free of all criticism. Why?
The fact that we're 4-6 and have actually been in most games with this rag-tag MASH unit is a credit to Kyle.

We just need to get a legit starting QB.
Kyle is legit. We let him go to our detriment. What we do need is to take an honest internal evaluation of the thought processes which led to all of the failed high draft picks we have had in the past 4 years. Why did we think any these draft pick failures could be NFL players or merited being drafted so high when they have shown us little or nada. All teams have failures, but I DGAF about other teams, only ours. We need to do and be better.

exactly...I'd like to think I have some common sense as far as being a fan, Kyle is not even close to being the issue right now.

I don't need to see him go 6-10 or 7-9 with a goof troop of backups to proclaim he's a some great HC. I also don't need to find someone to blame for this current season.

What's the point in criticism when he's working with a goof troop of talent currently?? It's painfully obvious what the problem is....as of today SF currently has $85.7M on IR.
Kyle is a great HC. Expecting perfection is asinine. No one is perfect, and Kyle doesn't pretend to be. He's real and he admits when he messes up.

You let Kyle go, and he'll take another team with talent to the playoffs. We need to hang on to him.

Goof troop that's hilarious. This has been a historically bad year for injuries, good lord. Hell these backups should be thankful, they're getting half a season to prove themselves to the Niners or other teams. This season has been a joke overall, Covid has no procedures it seems.

To what point? Let say he has yet another losing season next year because that looks very possible, does he get a pass again having 4 out of 5 years with losing record?

There has to come a time when the rose colored glasses need to come off.

That has nothing to do with what I just said

I mean if only we'd have Julio Jones...Jimmy would be winning MVPs apparently

It has to do with what you were saying last week. I don't know what you said today. I'm just trying to start a fight between you and JoeCool - simple vs complex offense.

Haha. I'm just saying that as solid as Kyle's play designs are, the fact that every scenario has an escape target can make things feel micromanaged. I'm sure every offense has this but there's a reason why Kyle doesn't seem to like scramblers.

BUT, my biggest point is I have rarely seen this offense run smoothly unless we are getting 5 to 7 yards per carry. An offense simply cannot rely on that large of chunks from the rushing game in order to flow.

When we have gotten away from Play Action and the run game, it's like pulling teeth in terms of flow. JG isn't a bad QB. He has the balls to make the blind throw or the tight throws or to risk INTs.

It seems like any QB in this system rarely gets on a flow and that Kyle builds off plays a quarter later rather than building off consecutive plays, defensive weakness or other intangible senses of the flow. Just seems disjointed.
