I like that he's always adapting in game and trying to build up confidence in the skill players. It helps keep the O fighting. In the past few years, if the offensive gameplan failed after the first quarter, the OC was usually at a loss how to recover.
That said, I do think Shanahan needs to be more mindful of the clock. Maybe that'll also improve as players get comfortable with his system.
