49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan Thread

I like that he's always adapting in game and trying to build up confidence in the skill players. It helps keep the O fighting. In the past few years, if the offensive gameplan failed after the first quarter, the OC was usually at a loss how to recover.

That said, I do think Shanahan needs to be more mindful of the clock. Maybe that'll also improve as players get comfortable with his system.

Nobody should be fired for 3 years, Im just saying he needs to be better. the 3 points stuff is pathetic.

39 points. Would have been 40 if Gould makes a kick and 42 if the refs were fair.

Better?

Look out for the Tomsula/Singletary/Kelly are better coaches and bring back Kap comments. They are everywhere.

On the positive there are signs of life in this organization again. Fabulous, fun and frustrating.

Kelly did more with way less talent on offense
This is going to be a rollercoaster season. However, the flashes are there. Can't wait to watch this team continue to grow and our chase for the complete game.
At least they're losing with class and dignity.

Dude. Just drop it. Harbaugh dropped the ball during all the most important games..still does

Lol denial is a great weapon. 5-3 in the playoffs. .695 winning percentage in the regular season, higher than Walsh's .609 or Seiferts .648 . More amazing when we now know he was deliberately undermined by his GM and owner for 3 of his 4 seasons here.

Very good comment!
...Toto? Where are we?

This is going to be such a rough year. We played about as good of a game on offense as we could against a good defense (this fanbase kept asking for TD's all week), had a few key defensive players on IR and this fanbase is still crying.

Imagine how toxic things would be if we had gotten blown out, like we inevitably will a couple times this year. I just hope Jed doesn't read fan reactions and get any ideas

Not to nitpick, and love I Harbaugh but Seifert's win % with us was .766

Isn't that is the book on Shanahan as well?

Use the ignore feature or get over it.

We pretty much were on our to getting blownout but rams are bad also they fumbled a kick, and missed an onside and dropped a punt. Those things don't happen we lose by 14-21 points. hence blow out.
