Shanahan passed on Mahomes, Watson and Brady.

If Trey blows this next year John will be gone, imo. Kyle on a very short leash

In 2.5 games with Lance Shanny went for it 11 times. 10 times total with Jimmy. I think we will see a different level of aggression going forward.

Oh for sure. That's the game you play with a Trey level talent. There will still be some Deebo stuff in the backfield but he's got a dude under center who threatens the entire field out 50 yards with his arm. Totally different offensive octane in coming

The catch is that with Kyle's mind he can still be a run first threat

-Shanahan: 4th quarter with the game on the line?.....forget Deebo because I´m going to win with Sherfield on the field and Juice carrying the rock.

McVay has a ring now

Brooo!! That's EXACTLY what I was saying.. like the ball should have been in deebo and kittles hands every play in the last 2 drives

Forgot to add Kittle, Aiyuk and Jennings too. Mcvay will own Shanny till he gets his ring(s) 🙏🏽
Yea it's over for now. Shanny lost, McVay won. Doesn't matter how it happened. McVay owns his ass. Shanahan doesn't know how to coach with the game on the line.

1-6 against Shanahan in his last 7 games and it took an injured Garoppolo for McVay to finally win.

McVay owns him? Even though Shanny won 6 straight against McVay despite LA spending all of their draft capital and salary cap to build a super team to win this year....yeah McVay won in the biggest matchup...but the game was decided by the talent on the field not the coaching. Get this nonsense out of here.

One has a QB he trusts, the other had Jimmy.

Doesn't matter. Rams won when it mattered in the NFCCG. Coaching was a huge part of it. His decision to not go for it on 4th and 2 was costly. All advanced statistics and models said he should've gone for it. Maybe it's a reach to say McVay owns him but he definitely is the more successful HC. He may not scheme an offense as well as KS but he seems to be a lot better at situational play calling.

Yup...and it was that QB that was finding Kupp....whereas Jimmy had a hard time hitting WIDE OPEN looks to Aiyuk, Kittle etc throughout the playoffs and season

Nonsense, McVay was trying to lose that game more than Kyle by burning all his timeouts and making stupid challenges. McVay just got lucky that his D-Line was kicking the crap out of our O Line that day.

Cool. I look forward to you keeping the same energy when Kyle is slapping around McVay for years to come.

I love KS and want him to be the HC for a long, long time and I actually think he's a better overall play caller than McVay...but the truth is he failed on the biggest stage vs him and the prior 6 wins mean nothing if you can't beat the guy in the game that matters most.
