KS10 said NO to Brady and Brady took TB to the SB and WON...

KS10 said NO to Staff and Staff took LA to the SB and WON...

.. so, whatever FUTURE the Rams gave up for Jalen or Staff, it's already WORTH IT.. McVay and stand in the podium and tell the world that HE DID WHAT HE DID TO WIN IT ALL... who cares what happens 3 years from now, it's not like he's going to be there anyhow had they stuck with GOFF.. or draft a young QB to develop..

Only one team wins a SB in a year and the only team that has been a consistent SB team over the past 20 years had the best QB of all time and possibly the best HC of all time.

You keep getting into the playoffs, keep winning road playoff games and eventually something good is bound to happen. To win in this league you need a combination of talent, good coaching and a whole lot of luck along the way when it comes to injuries and getting some lucky bounces.

So far the 49ers have been into two conferences championship games and a SB in 3 years. If Lance is who Shanahan and Lynch believe he can be, then the best is yet to come.

Can you imagine if KS10 just went w/a QB that he's ALL IN ??

Then there would have not been any excuses... correct ??

You seem very angry. Perhaps you should be a little more realistic in your expectations, you might find your existence more enjoyable.

Apparently. Lance is a long term play. If he works out, they have a QB for 12-15 years.if that happens, not a single person here will care about Stafford or whoever.

exactly. when you think about it. it's just laughable when we couldve had either of those dudes but choked and had no conviction. now just sitting here twiddling our thumbs wishing for a good future and hope everything works out. guess what, there are no guarantees, sbs are hard to come by. no year is guarantee. yeah we could be good later but no sbs no care. simple as that

I love KS and want him to be the HC for a long, long time and I actually think he's a better overall play caller than McVay...but the truth is he failed on the biggest stage vs him and the prior 6 wins mean nothing if you can't beat the guy in the game that matters most.

Agree with everything before the ellipsis, after that is a bunch of rubbish though. The Rams players made better plays that day, s**t happens. Remember Mcvay waisting 2 timeouts on terrible challenges? Or Tartt dropping a gift wrapped INT? Hats off to that Rams for pulling it out but to act like Mcvay owns Shanny is coming off as emotional posting after seeing them win the SB and wishing it was us there.

Like I said, I'm not telling you how you should cheer for the team. if you are happy with reaching the playoffs being an ok to good team good for you. I'm not talking down on ya. Goal is SB for me, and it's fine if you don't agree with that. everyone is different

Once again, acquiring Lance was less about this year and more about the future. They identified a prospect that they liked and went all in on them. Time will tell if they were right or not but if they did happen to hit on a franchise QB then Lance will be winning games long after Stafford has retired.

And if Lance works out for Shanahan then nobody is going to care whether or not he sat his rookie season. You get a young franchise QB and you're in the playoff discussion every year.
