It's like people don't think a QB can throw it to a player....Jimmy could throw the ball to Deebo/Kittle/BA all he wants. People are so instant about s**t and seems like they forget about all the film that was provide SHOWING Jimmy missed half a dozen or more reads from the NFCC. Missed Deebo/Kittle/BA on easy s**t. He makes have those reads....SF is playing in the SB. It's a reason why he's not gonna command some stupid 1st rd pick and more in a trade.

Players gotta execute the play end of the day...talent matters and our QB falls flat at doing a lot of that and has for a while.

Me personnaly, I will remember the wins against the Cowboys and the Packers on their hometurf. The nineties were hard on the niners. A little vengeance twenty years later is really nice.

People get pot committed and refuse to fold. Even when the cards are shown people still stick to their narrative. I know I've been guilty of this and I've been trying to be better about just folding and saying I was wrong.

I'm with you.. and I'm actually happy with kyle but sometimes I feel he gets a bit cute and hoping he learns and I know we're not equal in terms of Qb play, I just feel like in most games when it matters most, you gotta feed your best players. Some of it is on execution but even Kyle lovers in here will say so. Idc how you need to make it happen but deebo should touch the ball one time the final 10 minutes or 3 drives we've had

Lol I'm not against saying I'm wrong.. I'm just stating every team finds a way to get their star player the ball one way or another, and for deebo(probably top 5 weapon) to not touch the ball for our final 3 possession hurts man

Same...early on I was as stubborn as they come with my draft prospects and players. I'm still working on all that BUT I'm getting better with saying I'm wrong and valuing certain people's opinions in here. It's hard for me to take certain people serious when they're throwing out dumb take after dumb take, all for the sake of trying to hide them being wrong or not knowing what they're actually talking about.

For years most of my time was in the draft threads, I stayed out of the Jimmy thread for a while (up until this past yr) for the most part. s**t goes beyond football talk in there and in the 49ers forum in general...at least in the draft forum you get good football talk and people's thoughts on a players without massive bias.

When the playbook opens up more with Trey, the same people are just gonna say that Kyle has added new elements into his offense and now realizes he needs to use the whole field more, and allow his QB to go through his progressions.

Deebo was open plenty in the 4th QR, Jimmy didn't throw him the ball. I get what you're saying in that you must manufacture touches for him regardless....You can't force your QB to do something no matter what though, there's pre/post snap reads and Jimmy often has more than one play to choose from on every down. There's a reason why QB's make more money than anyone including the HC.

It's not a simple as saying feed Kupp either...dude was nowhere to be seen for a half of the football game last night, do we think that's because of scheme or McVay didn't want to get him the ball? No. Defense plays football too and the Bengals plays soft on that last drive IMO. Why they lined up Eli Apple on Kupp is beyond me. Stafford took advantage of that.

Kupp is great at finding those soft spots vs zone, but OBJ going out helped Cini clamp down on Kupp for a good portion of that game IMO

Saying you don't care how is MUCH easier to say then actually being able to do it end of the day.

As far as getting cute, I'd say McVay trying to run a Philly special was playing it cute, no? It was horribly run and could have gotten his QB killed.

Yeah it can get crazy in here, but there are a ton of great fans in here as well. I try to block out the noise.

I think people don't realize you can love a player or coach, but still be honest and critical when its warranted.

Anyone with half a brain knows Kyle is a great offensive mind and coach. There is no obvious "upgrade".

Its also fair to say he can improve and his 4th quarters in big games are a serious red flag. I mean its just the truth so I understand peoples perspectives and debates. People do take that and spin it to the tenth degree of delusion lol.
