that s**t doesn't get called we might be calling McVay "this massive choke artist blah blah blah" So much happens to determine the outcome of a game besides what plays are called.

The refs were "letting them play" until the very end, which is stupid. When it looked like the Rams might actually lose, the refs started calling it tight.

It was unbelievable....next to nothing being called all game, then a bunch of flags I would be so pissed if I'm a Cinci fan....NFL doesn't want them winning. Right before that play there was a clear false start penalty not called as well.

SO much factors in to a W/L beyond if McVay/Shanny calls the correct play or not. Fans in here can't understand that though.

That s**t never get's called and the refs were clearly letting them play up until they decided they weren't.

Play prior to the "holding" PI the refs felt the need to not throw a flag on a clear false start

damn near all the OL minus the center moved WTF

Oh and Ramsey did this all game, yet LA fans want to cry about a facemask

Oh come on. Are we just going to ignore the clear opi on Higgins to even give them the lead? Outside of that play the bengals didn't move the ball in the 2nd half. It all evens out in the end. Rams were clearly the better team, and deserved to win. Mcvay has been a great hire for them.

And dont give me the mcvay scored 3 points in the superbowl crap. Mahommes and Reid scored 9 points last year. Even walsh and Montana got demolished 49 to 3 in the playoffs once. Sometimes you just meet a superior opponent. Mcvays record and superbowl win speaks for itself.

Refs didn't make the Bengals go for it on their first drive. Refs didn't run it with Perine instead of Mixon. Refs didn't fail to capitalize making it a 2 possession game after Staffords pass bounced off his receivers hand. Lots of plays were left on that field last night for the Bengals. Mostly that O line making me appreciate McGlinchey and Brunskill.

Everyone watching live saw the refs spotting CIN balls short every time and commented on it from the start.

It reminded me of the SEA v SF NFCCG game that has a youtube video showing every instance of ball spotting

Those yards can add up over the course of a game

But even that wasnt enough and they had to go obvious assist mode for that last TD

Ramsey was doing this ALL GAME, and not getting called for s**t.

They weren't calling ticky tack PIs ALL GAME, up until they did...at the most important spot in the game. clear missed FS the play prior as well. Like I said A LOT goes into if a team W/L outside of what a HC calls. That PI had NOTHING to do with McVay and everything to do with the refs. Yet we got fans in here willing to kiss his ass regardless.

McVay is 1-1 in a SB as a HC lol. Yeah guess what he STILL only put up 3pts in a SB, worst in the history of the SB I believe . Yeah even a great HC like Walsh lost games in the playoffs, no different then Kyle (with MUCH better QB play). You had Payton go to one SB in 15 yrs, Tomiln was given a SB team and hasn't been to a SB in over a decade. Took Reid 15 years to get back to the SB and 20 years to win it. It's f**king hard man. Those dudes have done it with HOFer QBs too.

In 5 yrs Kyle has gotten SF from one of the worst teams in the NFL to going to a SB and NFCC and that's with an avg as QB under center. We're now expected to be good with him. Far from Chip Kelly/Tomsula and all the other dumpster fire hires we've had here for 20+ yrs. But here we are complaining because that's what this fan base loves to do.

Disregarding the fact that our QB f**king sucked in the playoffs and missed over half a dozen reads that would have won it for us. Let's just blame it on Kyle because he was the one throwing the ball and missing the open reads

We can be critical of our HC but man let's get s**t straight in here and understand the nuances of games. People look foolish otherwise (and I'm not saying you, it's a general comment)

Much like our SB vs the Ravens where they were letting both teams play all game and then suddenly threw the flag when Crabtree was held.

Oh wait...

I'm not catching up to this whole thread but I certainly hope people aren't bringing up how Kyle chokes in big games while McVay is something special. That fratboy got so damn lucky that his players picked him up in these last two games.

I saw someone on twitter act like McVay giving the ball to Kupp on 4th down was aggressive and huge while Kyle was afraid to give Deebo the ball on 4th down and cost us the win. F out of here with that garbage. Rams were down by 4 points and time ticking away...it was a good playcall and Kupp isn't used like Deebo so him getting a running attempt is not something that shows up on tape a lot. Yes it was ballsy going for it on 4th down in their own territory but there wasn't a lot of time left in the game and it's not like the Rams offense was making a lot of huge plays.

It's simply the fact that McVay had his stars step up and make plays. Unfortunately in our losses our guys did not do that.

"We're in need of somebody that can win Super Bowls," York said in closing his 30-minute press conference. "We haven't won a Super Bowl since 1994." "That's our only goal. We don't raise division championship banners, we don't raise NFC Championship banners. We raise Super Bowl banners. "
Talks of Donald possibly retiring

No doubt, all that stuff factors in….including what the refs did at the end of the game. Just be consistent and do your part

That statement was 6 years ago. We haven't won Superbowl since then. So obviously the goals have not been met.

Yeah let's fire everyone….accept Jimmy G he's clearly the only reason we've won at all according to a couple posters.
I love my coach
