Shanahan's QB was always going to be either Cousins or Garoppolo. If they don't make that trade with NE then Cousins signs here as an FA and who knows what happens there, but it was pretty clear that he was always Plan A until Garoppolo unexpectedly became available.

My guess and hope is he learns from his mistakes. I actually believe Kyle would've gone for Josh Allen if the Jimmy G trade never happened. But who the hell knows?

Kirk would have mostly threw an Interception before having an opportunity of making that throw. Did you see the Interception he threw against the Bears? Inexcusable
