Can't help your team win if you're injured. Cousins has never missed a game due to injury. Which is surprising cause Cousins looks like he's 170 lbs.

If Cousins was on the 9ers they would have lost 3 super bowls in a row!

.. the KS10 followers here would have been saying " Kyle wanted Grappy, he gave him a high grade coming out of college " ..

Kyle wanted Cousins but Snyder forced the Shanahans to play RG3
Kyle wanted Jimmy for the Browns but they went with Manziel

Then he got Jimmy for the 49ers and now Kyle wants Tray Lance?

gots to keep our fingers crossed w/Baby Face Lance... FULL SUPPORT BABY, FULL SUPPORT !!!

GO NINERSSSSS !!!

Neither JG or cousins we're the a answer moving forward... Thankfully, we we're never able to get our hands on Cousins, and ended up with Jimmy Instead. otherwise, Kyle would have most likely stuck with KC ( another overrated QB btw ) through thick and thin, meaning, there would be no trade up for Lance.

Cousins would've hit sanders.

Kirk would have mostly threw an Interception before having an opportunity of making that throw. Did you see the Interception he threw against the Bears? Inexcusable

True, but Kirk would've hit sanders after the int.
Kirk had far less INTs that year than jimmy.. that statment would be incorrect

People on these boards have a weird dislike for Cousins for some reason. He has been a solid QB for several seasons. He has been under mediocre coaching staffs with poor defenses and no running game but seems to receive most of the blame for the lack of success.

Jimmy's Int% has not been under 2.7 since he has been here. Cousins int% has been 1.7 or below 3 out of the last 5 seasons and in that same time frame, hasn't exceeded 2.5.

He still has a tendency to make dumb throws.

He's what we would call a "fantasy guy" puts up good stats through the regular season, but still tends to makes bad decisions when the games on the line.

There is no reason to believe that he wouldn't have found more success (higher win%) if he spent the last 4 years under Shanahan.

lol, opinions are not facts..facts are he throws less INTs so saying he would in that particular moment is not true

Still not worth trading for. He's a decent QB overall, but we made the right decision by drafting a young QB

Like I said, he's a stats guy.. looks good on the stat sheet but still chokes when It comes down to the wire. There's a reason most Viking fans don't care for him.

Well obviously its all in hindsight now that we have Trey Lance. But I cannot help but think of what may have been.

You keep calling him a choke artist. Please show me the evidence. At least I have evidence to back up my argument.

Not sure how to post links or anything, but there's plenty of proof put there that would prove that he tends to choke in big games. Pay close attention to how he performs against when there's no pressure, as apposed to when he's feeling the heat . Some of the Ints he throws are just awful decisions.. he's also 1-3 in the playoffs.

You still are not providing any proof for your claims. Like I said in my op. Folks on the boards have a weird dislike for Cousins and blame him for mediocre coaching and poor defense. I am not saying he is Rodgers or Brady but certainly a top 10 player in his position.

Not saying Kirk is better than Jimmy or Jimmy is better than Kirk, but that throw was in the playoffs when it came down to the wire.

This was the following play after that big bomb,

Kyle is play calling a 10 lead in the Super bowl, and this year in the NFC Championship game against our biggest rival and no ring. He's a play it safe and run it up the middle guy. Never going for the kill in games and I'm wondering if he's any good as head coach to be honest.

There's always going to be pros and cons! Shanahan does go conservative and the play calling is sometimes like WTH are you thinking. But I admire his first season not losing the locker room because they would play hard and his first 2 season they would lose by 8 points or less, one possession ! (Sure there were a few that the game got out of hand)…. They should have took a QB his first year that's where they screwed up. But the fact that he's made a super bowl run and a championship run in his time here speaks volumes. You forget Harbaugh also had his flaws, he never let the young guys play at all, ran poor plays too! s**t, you must forget all the field goals they had to settle for with him. But he's better than Erickson, Nolan, Tomsula, Singletary…

I miss barely getting every play snapped with 1 second left on the play clock cause of how slow the play calls were. Good times was good for the health.

I loved Harbaugh. But Kyle is much better.
