Kyle's obsession with Kirk Is the only reason he drafted Beathard. He seriously thought he could develop him into a starting QB. That's Most likely the reason we also passed on Watson and Mahomes too. 2021, Kyle finally decided to let go off his ego and think outside the box with the drafting of Lance. That's a positive at least.
