They haven't fired Kyle for 9moon yet?

They gave up a 7th round pick. What a waste not adding Stacy Coley to our roster for two years before he washed out the league.

Who's crying? I was responding to another poster. I could care less about Beathard or where he was drafted.

Anyways. Let's move on shall we

You brought up Beathard though. You acted like he was drafted (one of the last picks in the 3rd) because he was the next Kirk or something. You said they gave up multiple picks, when they actually gave up a late 7th to move up like 5 spots.

no one was expecting him to be the next FQB. Yeah I'm fine moving on.

Same Andy Reid that beat KS in a super bowl that we were winning in the 4th quarter.

Same Andy Reid that went out and traded up for a QB when he had a QB (Alex Smith) on his roster that was playing ok. Same Andy Reid that made McNabb look like a real NFL QB.

Yes that guy.

Same Andy Reid that was pigeonholed as the choke artist of all HCs for TWO decades.

wait didn't Kyle trade up for a QB when he had a QB (Jimmy) on his roster that was playing okay? McNabb, the #2 overall pick in the draft? Lol yeah he really had to work hard to make him successful. Poor Reid never allowed to have talent at the QB position lol.

everyone in here knows you would have had a fit if Reid was our HC back in those Philly early KC days. Multiple NCFCC and a blown SB lol. Blown playoff games in KC with Alex sounds familiar…only difference his one HC didn't have a pro-bowl QB to help him get there.

hypocritical b******t.

McNabb wasn't really a great QB. He looked good in Reid's offense but IMO McNabb was a meh QB.

Which IMO is Trey's floor as long as he has Kyle

McNabb was still a #2 overall and with that comes high expectations for the coach who drafted him and the player that was drafted.

McNabb was kind of an Eagles version of Alex Smith.

Agree 💯%. Andy Ried got his first NFC Championship after 6 years of coaching, Kyle got his in half that time.

I'll wade into this.. McNabb was a great QB.. perhaps Alex in reverse.. in the sense Smith started out a clueless train wreck and aged like fine wine.. while McNabb was a superstar early and faded as he didn't really take care of himself. Papa Shanny told him straight up to get in shape fatty. He really let himself go over time.

Found this quote from the web:

Apparently, Donovan failed to heed the NO FAT QB'S sign Shanahan hung outside the Redskins practice facility. You Eagles fans get to sit back and watch all this lunacy unfold with a bit of bemused detachment. Again, this episode brings us right back to Super Bowl XXXIX, when McNabb was slow and lumbering during the six-minute drill and vomiting on the field. Was McNabb not in shape to run the hurry-up offense then? Has he ever been?

Early on.. he was fire.

That was like his 12th yr in the league when he went to Washington. At that point is career was over
