Nice thread. I hope they do another thread that breaks down the complimentary runs that play off of outside zone. A big part of Lance running this offense correctly will be his ability to check into the optimal run play after he surveys the defensive front. We see Jimmy changing the play in some of those clips.

"I have such beef with them right now," Shanahan said, without specifically identifying the "them" to whom he was referring. "It's a tough issue going on. They won't let me pick out my own one. They won't let me wear any one that's from a [previous] year, so I can't wear like an older one. I've got to wear the new ones that they give this year. Unfortunately, there's none I like wearing. So hopefully, we can figure it out or wait 'til Salute to Service."

Trey is definitely faster, but I think it's weird that everyone keeps talking about Trey's size when they are nearly the same size (Trey 6-4, 224 lbs/Jimmy 6-2, 226 lbs).

They are talking about a specific body part.

Lance scares the hell outta me. Just his size and speed brings a different element than Jimmy, something you guys haven't had since Kaep. He doesn't even have to be elite to put you over the hump. I hope we can see Kyle and Sean matchups for years to come. Screw the rest of the division

2 inches when it comes to a QB is a huge difference imo. Remember all the batted balls Jimmy had in the SB?

When this turns into a pass, the Fullback and the HB will be open all day. Kittle will draw a double team. X and Z receivers will be covered deep. If Michell, TDP, Wilson or Hastey can make that first guy miss, it's going to be a big gainer.

Though he never was while with us, Mike is looking more like a great 49ers' head coach than ever before.
