This are facts and not biased opinions.

6th season under this offensive genius.

-Still don´t have a franchise QB.
-Losing record overall.
-Defense always is way better than the offense.
-Defense has carried the team to the 2 playoff runs.
-Can´t win close games.
-Keeps repeating the same mistakes over and over.
-Passing game is garbage.

Rex Ryan had a winning percentage of .480 in his 6th season when he was fired.
Shanahan has a winning percentage of .480 now in his 6th season.

Andy Reid is an offensive genius and his offense always is better than his defense and he identified Mahomes.
Sean McVay is an offensive genius and his offense always is better than his defense and he got Stafford.
Sean Payton is an offensive genius and his offense always was better than his defense and he got Brees.

Shanahan is an offensive genius but he always relies on the defense and he still can´t fix the QB position.

Offenses and defenses are too different to make this comparison, IMO.

Defense is about harnessing talent and pointing it in the right direction. Goal of a defense is to create chao and disruption, and to be opportunistic.

Offenses are about rhythm, timing, precision. It's an orchestra. And it needs a top end conductor (QB) to truly bring all the instruments into harmony consistently enough to win year in and year out. Sometimes a team can get by with the community theater orchestra because their defense is so good, but it's rare.

Nothing all game to counter the 5 man line. They gave them easy 1st down completions all game and KS didn't take advantage. And our rb talent just isn't the same. The outside zone has vanished.

First year where things feel on the "downswing" for Shanahan and once things start heading that way they usually don't turn around.

What's his master plan? Honestly don't see it and don't see any plan that has the Niners winning the Super Bowl in the next few seasons with Shanahan/Trey/Jimmy G.

He needs Lance to ball out next year. We all know this. His career is 100% dependent on Lance being a Top 10 QB that can win games like tonight the way Wilson did.

Yall are something else. We lost this game because the quarter back made 3 dumb mistakes (fumbled snap, accidentally stepped out for a safety, horrible INT), and the offensive line could not sustain their blocks in the run game. We had 2 plays dialed up to deebo that would have been touchdowns or at least huge gains that the QB either didn't even see, or underthrew causing there to be no resulting YAC. Can't blame the playcalling when the players don't execute.

Someone start a coubtdown to when Shanahan gets fired.

I called him shanaloser when he was hired. 6 years later I look like nostradamus

Just to remind everybody, we are rolling with a back up quarterback, the entire year. The fact that Kyle was able to get us as far as he has with this back up quarterback should let you know exactly how great of a coach he is.
